The package consists of the Tronsmart Force portable Bluetooth speaker, 3.5mm audio cable (to use for non Bluetooth devices), type c usb charging cable, metal hook attached to the speaker great for portability i.e attaching to a bag, mounting parts to enable you to clip onto a bike and a user friendly manual.

The speaker is very well made; it's a nice size, has some weight to it. I like the fact that it has the added benefits of being dust/waterproof. The speaker has this rugged look and feel to it, it's portable and easy to place around the home / office as well as using it outdoors.

The multi function buttons are located on the top and include, power on/off voice assistant, mode to use when switching between aux/sd or disconnecting Bluetooth, play/pause/hands free, volume down /previous track, volume up /next track and tri bass effects. The speaker has three status lights, useful for connecting/ knowing your connected to Bluetooth, charging and audio effect switching indicator.

Connecting via Bluetooth is very straightforward just turn on the device and it automatically goes into pairing mode, it will connect each time thereafter. Not a single issue with range and connectivity, as a whole it works extremely well.

Located on the back of the speaker is a rubber flap, when lifted you will find a charging port, aux input, micro sd card slot. I was able to listen to my music and charge the speaker at the same time when the battery ran out, which is handy.

Overall it’s a fantastic speaker. You can listen to music/take calls and the speaker really does last a long time in terms of its battery life. Sound quality is excellent; it's very loud, clear and pleasant to the ear. The speaker is capable of filling a large room and delivers a good amount of bass. Although it comes with tri-bass effects, I found the standard mode delivered the best all round sound. For the price it’s a great buy!! It's a lot cheaper compared to some high-end brands of a similar size and in my opinion this sounds better than most I've played around with.

The problem with this product is the awful design which makes it so difficult to operate. The charging light and power ‘lights’ to show whether it is on or off are so faint that you will need access to a photographer’s darkroom to detect any light. This pain is not eased by the fact that the ‘jingle’ sound when turning it on is very similar to the sound when turning it off so, as I can’t remember which is which I never know if it’s on or off. Finally, the control buttons are almost completely invisible, even in daylight, to the naked eye which means I have to gently run my hand across the control area to try to feel the part to press for power, volume etc. I would recommend a short course in Braille if you are considering getting one. However, if you don’t need to see the charging light or need to know if the power is on or off or ever need to change the volume - this is probably the one for you. I can’t comment on the sound quality as I haven’t yet found the energy or acquired the necessary skills to operate it - it might be pretty good, sadly!

I bought this speaker a few weeks ago because I needed a speaker at work that would cut through the noise of the factory I work in. I read the reviews of a few of this size Bluetooth speaker but kept coming back to this one as the price was also excellent. I have now been using it since mid November and can easily say I am over the moon with it...a little powerhouse! Yes, at a high volume it distorts a bit, but what speaker doesn't? It's built robustly...solid...nothing plasticy about it at all, excellent battery life (when used with battery...I tend to use the USB cable mainly though). To sum this speaker up I would say an amazing, loud, speaker that's built like a tank and is excellent value for money. Chuffed to bits!!

Very good sound, with plenty of bass. The speaker is covered in a strong rubber case which is great, but the design flaw is that it doesn't quite cover the outer long edges which would be the most prone to getting damaged if hit hard. The volume control is ok, but for some reason it goes up in pre-defined steps, so it's sometimes hard to get the level just right if you want the music on a quieter level. I bought 2 speakers so I can do the proper stereo thing. This works very well and gives really good sound . I found it a bit fiddly to set up the first time. I think the trick is to keep Bluetooth turned off on your phone until the two speakers are paired.

For the price this is a fantastic bit of kit. Simple to use, well built and brilliant sound quality. Compared it to my friends Bose Bluetooth speaker (300 quid) and there really wasn't a discernable difference. For the price if anyone complains they are mental!! I bought it as a cheap product but it's exceeded all expectations by a million miles.

For a speaker at this price range from a brand i've never heard of I was a bit skeptical but compared to the other speakers I'd seen this one had the best review and now I understand why.

The speaker is extremely well built and has a premium feel to it, it's got some weight to it and rubberised exterior which helps not make it feel cheap. The buttons on the top are easy to use and even change the EQ preset.

Connectivity is a doddle just pair the device by bluetooth once its powered on and you're good to go. Additionally you can have the device play songs from an SD card or via directly connecting the provided 3.5mm jack to the speaker and a device of your choice. USB C charging is an additional bonus as a lot of speaker may still be using Micro USB-B which sucks.

The first year with this product is great, they connect quickly to the driving device (mobile, pc etc) the sound quality is very good, they can go loud and the battery lasts really well. Because I was pleased with my first about 9 months later I bought another to use the pairing function and have better sound coverage in the room.

The pairing function is an absolute & complete faff. A far cry from the seemless connectivity advertised.

The pairing process initially took one hell of a lot longer initially. I then found that you had to connect the devices in a specific order, this was done by switching both speakers on at the same time, waiting in indeterminate and variable time for th to pair, then repeatedly attempt to pair them to my phone or laptop. Every other permutation of this caused the speakers to freeze. The paired speakers also would not pair to my laptop at all, but would without issue individually. Basically the hassle of pairing the devices and then coercing them into pairing with my driving device was more hassle than I could be bothered with so I just used them individually.

This was fine, however they have both gradually developed issues at about 11-12months post purchase, such as taking a long time to connect to a driving device and then having poor sound quality, or just refusing to connect at all. Wired, the sound is good and battery life is still very good.

18/08/19 update. I so wanted a stereo set up that I ended up buying 2 more. Long story short they must be bough in pairs as the new revision does not work in stereo with the old rev speaker I have. Customer service not helpful sadly. But these speakers are very good. Unintentionally drop-tested one speaker when slid off a window sill (bass vibration) and fell on a concrete tile from about 1.5 meter high. Left a small bruise on the side but speaker still sounds absolutely fine, no distortion. I guess water-proof rubbery finish has a good fall dampening ability too. This new revision also addressed battery run time. Played continuously for over 13 hours. There is also an auto power off feature. If bluetooth connection drops both speakers turn off after a little while. Also both speaker buttons are linked together so you can adjust the volume or skip the track from either one. Also turning off one speaker turns off the other one. I am absolutely impressed and now up-rated to 5 stars.

I was looking for a wireless speaker for my bathroom so I could listen to the music while having a shower. This little speaker does the job very well. In a smallish room it can get so loud that you need to shout if you want other person to understand what you are saying. If you put the speaker in a corner and set EQ to for stronger bass you get a really decent sound. And it should last 15 hours at 50% loudness. Yay, I thought, will only need charging every other week or even less frequently. So yes my mind was blown!
However my excitement worn off the next day when it needed charging. okay, maybe it was not fully charged. But the following day I am charging it again. Admittedly I use it outside the bathroom ie bedroom because I like to listen to the music before I fall asleep and like to be woken up by a loud music in a morning. So that averages about 3 hours a day. Quite far from the advertised 15 hours. Will do some further testing to see how much charge battery accepts (should be around 48W/h), maybe I am missing some power saving feature.

Charged from completely flat to full with USB power meter. That clocked only 19.8W/h. Not happy. Contacting support.

This seems to be an upgrade on the Tronsmart speaker I bought a year or so ago. That one I use for powerpoint presentations - very clear and easily fills a large room. However, I wanted another one just for music or the radio when I'm away (I keep forgetting to take the other one out of the training gear case before I leave home). I saw this one had different sound modes so went for it instead and what a difference! Music now has real depth, volume is more than enough and the surround option is great. I thought it would be hard for them to produce anything better than the old one, but they certainly have. If you want great sound at far less than Bose etc, go for this.

My device failed to charge. I tried numerous power sources to no avail. I will be sending it back. The device is quite rugged looking but I think this comes at the expense of usability of the device. The buttons are a pain to use and difficult to locate in a dark environment. You have to press down on the rubber buttons until the button underneath clicks. It got annoying after a while if using the volume buttons frequently for example. Also, when connected with my phone, when pressing the volume up/down buttons there was too much of a gap between the volume graduations such that I couldn't find a volume sweet spot - it was either too loud or too low. I appreciated that the device allowed me to deliver sound via USB as my PC's Bluetooth adapter seemingly couldn't cope with having more than one device connected, the connection would falter periodically if I was using an Xbox controller at the same time for example.If the device did charge, I would still have been content with the device as the high volumes were acceptable and it probably would have been a decent companion for a camping festival - it certainly seems like it would have withstood a rough and wet environment.
