Fantastic little light very bright bought it for a gazebo when camping

Rubbish the solar part fell offscreen first use

If only charging with solar energy is not enough, the luminosity is very low

I've been looking for a a decent light to take camping and came across this. On first impression the build quality is ok but not fantastic. The hinges on the "pages" (as the product describes them) aren't particularly strong and can cause them to droop back down. The clip built into the hook doesn't always line up so can take some fiddling to hang these lamps up. Don't let this put you off though!Despite the ok build quality, these are some pretty decent lights, especially for the price. When folded, they are around the size of a pint glass. They have a small solar panel on the top to help top the battery up while you aren't near an electrical source. The lights themselves are brilliantly bright with 3 brightness levels, a strobe setting and an SOS setting. Though we haven't taken them camping yet, we have hung one from a parasole in the garden and been extremely happy with the result.

Bought this for my Grandson who for the first time slept in the awning, he thought it was great.

Not the best ,the huck snapped, & it fell down & broke apart.

I've had a previous product which worked much better, let me explain
The original product had solar panels on the back of all the 3 "Petals"
This meant that you could put this inside even a dark tent, and enough light would hit the panels to charge it
Not so with this one, which has a single solar cell - much smaller, much less efficient, and needs to be charged in broad daylight
It is also bigger and thicker, so takes up more space - which is always at a premium when camping
A disappointment
