When my family household fell down with an illness, I was really scared that I too was going to end up with COVID-19. I made sure to follow advice of keeping distance, wearing mask and washing hands and did get the odd laugh or three, but there's a saying "He who laughs last, laughs longest". All my family tested positive apart from me.

Nothing is really funny about this of course, COVID-19 is a terrible thing and I can only hope and wish the best for everyone who catches and has to deal with it daily. Lots of misinformation and uncertainty leads to a cataclysm of resisting, but at the end of the day, we have to follow the science. If there's a chance of dying, why risk it to prove a point? I am really fortunate that my family, (a lot are vulnerable) survived and made a full recovery but I cannot urge enough to take safe steps to slow down the spread of this horrible disease where other people may not be as fortunate as my family and in that regard, these masks are a massive step in slowing the spread.

I also noticed that in shops, they were selling them 10 pieces for £5 so when I seen 50 for this price I was a bit worried and anxious but they were in the exact same packaging and were the superstore equivalent. So these are great value and plus now knowing that they did actually work.

At least half of the masks in the box did not have this "metallic" thing that is supposed to keep the mask on your nose. This made it really uncomfortable as the mask would move all the time reaching the eyes and us having to drag it back down (try doing this without touching the mask on the outside while you are out and about). I'm surprised this had good reviews. Will not buy it again.

Purchased as back up as do have various re-usable masks with and without filters. These are great for times when a throw away version is more suitable. They’re probably not up to full medical standard however still proficient for general public usage.Packaging not a problem and although all in one packet easy to remove singly when required.

The material the masks are made from are very papery and stiff and scratches a bit at my face. They are very inflexible on my face so I am finding big gaps at the top despite the wire and at the sides. I also found they won’t stay on my face when I talk , they’re either pulling down off my nose or riding up my chin making me adjust the mask constantly which we shouldn’t be doing once it’s on. Very disappointed because I’ve used up a box of very similar disposable ones but they were softer and I never had a problem with them

We rook a risk and purchased again as needed masks in an emergency. This time the box was a different brand than the one we received last time. This time it was the 1 above brand. There was a noticeable difference in quality.

I have changed the review rating from 1 to 3 stars as the new batch deserve 5.

Its clear that the quality is dependent upon the brand you get and as in my experience its a 50 50 chance of whether the quality will be good or not.

I purchased these masks based on the great reviews... What a disappointment. Out of the 50 masks less than 10 were able to be used.

The masks are cheaply made and as soon as you touch the elastic without even attempring to put them on the elastic pops rendering the mask useless.

My advice spend a little more and buy another brand or a reusable washable mask.

Very disappointed.

Very poorly made, elastic comes away when trying to place the mask on.
Ive so far worn 4 and had to bin 10 or more
Im not being too rough or stretching it, it just isn't glue correctly

Unfortunately these came with the box damaged and the masks look thin. I’ve had to keep them as the box got thrown away by mistake. Loose fitting too so I have to tie a knot in each side to be able to use.

Poor Quality Fit - Loose

These are manaufactured and certified to the relevant CN standard and I do not see this is any cause for concern as these standards can be double checked on the Chinese gov's web site.I think the days of "fake" products coming out of China are long gone. Imagine, if you will, the consequences for an official found to falsifying standards....does not bear thinking about!I cannot find any fault with these - the loops are robust, there is no "smell" when you open the packet. I have a skin condition and have not noticed any issues with the material where it is in contact with the skin.

The masks are extremely thin and doesn't seem to protect much as they are so paper thin. The elastic loops are too long, and to secure the mask properly they need to be twisted to fit more securely and this is quite uncomfortable. The mask does not fit securely enough across the nose area even if when secured, the mask keeps slipping when worn . Not very good quality.
