I have been meaning to get some smart plugs for a while for simple things like turning the lights and radio on and off - partly as a safety measure for when I am away from home, and partly for the sake of my dog who does not like being in a dark quiet house. So far the plugs have worked a treat. They also have a timer function to turn things on and off, which is simple and easy to set up. The plugs don’t protrude all that far from the wall and look discrete enough. I will be getting a few more for other parts of the house.

Utter garbage. Doesn't connect to "smart" app. So it's utterly pointless. I tried changing my home network to suit it (only works on 2.4ghz), tried both modes. But nothing. Spent hours on this nonsense.On the plus side, it looks quite nice...

Recently bought an echo dot and wanted to make use of Alexa so I bought these smart plugs.They arrived in good time and I couldn't wait to get going.Firstly I needed to download and app to my phone before I could link the plugs to the echo dot which was easy enogh to do.It took me two attempts to link the first item but once I'd done that the next ones were easy.I would definately buy again if I needed any more.

I jusy got alexa echo and I wanted to control my appliances. It was really wonderful that I bought this coz it work perfectly. It was easy to setup. As soon as I added it to my smart app it also automatically recognised by alexa. I was enjoying this smart plug specially for my coffee maker.

It is clear in the description that these plugs, like most smart devices, only work on 2.4ghz. I have UniFi access points and controller covering the entire property, including annex and outbuildings. I set up a separate guest network on 2.4ghz and used this to connect. I downloaded the Smart Life app (iOS) and all plugs connected immediately without issue. It doesn’t matter whether devices connect to the network through the guest portal or normal dual band (2.4ghz and 5ghz) portal the devices are recognised once on the system. You can link the devices to Alexa through the Smart Life app, which is standard and they work perfectly with voice control. The devices work exactly as they should and using the Smart Life app I have set them up as “dusk to dawn” to control the outside Christmas lights. It should be noted the smart plugs are only rated at 10 amp not 13 amp that a standard uk plug can supply.

Bought as a timer to control Christmas Lights but it can do so much more. Nice and compact, can use the manual override as well as the app. Well worth the money

I struggled with this product. At first it didn't work and couldn't connect. Took forever to eventually connect then didn't work correctly. There are much better ones out there for the price. And connectable with Google and alexa

Ordered this product so I could use my Google ome to light up a lamp. Seemed to be a good price, the smart plugs arrived quickly, and used the "smart life" app to set them up (I use this for my other ones too) so it connected very quickly.Tried it for the last week or so, on a daily basis. And has not failed yet. Good buy!

These are great for adding a timer for something or telling Alexa to turn on a plug. We are using a couple of these to turn on smelly wax warmers around the house at different times.
I also have 3 of the HBN wall switches to turn on a porch and patio light and they are great they’ve never lost signal even after the odd power cut so I decided to go for the same make as they worked so well and I was already using the smart life ap along with Alexa.
I got the 4 pack of smart plugs, they were not the easiest of things to connect on my WiFi and mine wouldn’t connect straight away with the first step on pairing but follow the instructions on your screen and it paired the second way. I have re named mine plug 1 to plug 4.
These can be used for no end of tasks I even thought about plugging a lead light in to use as security when away as I didn’t want to change the light switches for smart ones and worry about not having a neutral wire.
The button on the side which is also used during setup manually overrides any timers you have set and can be used like a normal on off switch, the timers will still function at the appropriate time.
One thing to remember is press the button for five seconds for the first setup it will turn off and when you remove your finger the light will flash quickly or press the button again for five seconds for the second setup remove your finger and the light will blink slower.
Once you’ve paired the first one it’s so much easier pairing the others.
They look robust and are easy enough to move from room to room when required and you still have access to the main on off switch on the original socket.

Arrived quickly and well packed. I use Google for my smart network and had previously used the 'Smart Life' app for other smart products and this immediately connected to the 'Smart Life' app and then Google with no issues at all. Good little product.
