Really pleased. Good quality and look very pretty in the evening

The packaging suggested this would be a poor quality item, but I was pleasantly surprised. They are not amazingly bright, but they look very effective. Although the light panel is only 6cm square, the lights charge relatively quickly. They are supplied with a stand and a holder which slides into it; this makes it easy to attach the lights to a fence, or whatever’s suitable. The stand and holder are black plastic, so they’re unobtrusive.

There are forty lights on the string, and they have two modes (static and twinkling), and it’s useful to be able to switch them off when required. As the lights are on a six metre wire, you don’t even need to have them near the charger. They are claimed to be waterproof, though I haven’t tested that yet.

With the warm weather during lockdown, our grandson has enjoyed camping in the back garden; these will be perfect for lighting up the interior of the tent with a soft yellow glow.

NB I’ve rated the remote control as one star because there isn’t one!

Was a bit dubious about these star lights after reading some reviews. But I'm so glad I purchased. These are lovely, work fine. They have 2 modes. Very happy.

I really like these little solar powered star lights. They work really well in my garden.
Okay so I have been using them on one side of my gazebo, strung across the top where the ‘roof’ is. Now as a 3M square gazebo I would need 4 sets of these lights to go all the way around, which gives you a good indication of length with these- in other words they are not very long in length at all, and the lights are pretty densely put together, so you should be aware of that even though there are 40 lights attached.
However the effect is simply stunning.
Ours arrived already charged and ready to go, and have remained charged ever since thanks to the handy stake in solar power panel that we have facing directly where the sun hits in our garden the best, so it manages to always be powered by the midday sun.
The stars when glowing at night are super cute, it’s a really nice effect actually. They are a sort or warm white/yellow colour when active.
You can choose between 2 modes to have them on- static or twinkling. So they’d be great for a child’s party or something where you could have twinkly stars in your garden.
I’d say they aren’t the BEST value for money, just in terms of personally needing more than one or 2 sets just to fit around the 4 sides of my gazebo, which isn’t exactly practical, but they would be worthwhile if you wanted the effect say down the side of your fence, and had room to place the solar panel chargers along.

Amazing lights for our mini Christmas tree

The lights work brilliantly, the light that each star has really shows the complete star at night. They are put together very well and can trust these will last. The solar panel is a pretty standard size for these kinds of light and on the reverse side it has the buttons.
There are 2 buttons one which is an on and off and the other for the different modes,
I can confirm that each and every light illuminates and that the brightness is equal throughout the chain. They are about 6 meters in length.
I would recommend planning where to put them first as the solar panel will need to be setup in a place with sufficient sunlight.
A shaded area will work but when it goes dark the power will not last long and they will turn off.
Worth the money!

Unfortunately stopped working after one use.

May say 6m long but that includes 2m of bare wire between solar unit and first light, so really only 4m of lights.
