9/10 however would still suggest to anyone looking for wireless around £100

Fantastic head set! Only issue, I feel the sound quality could be better. Seems a little sharper than my previous Logitech G933 but don’t let that put you off! With the correct sound settings it is hardly an issue! Just wasn’t expecting such difference in the two. These are lovely and light. Had them on for 5 hours straight in a gaming session, no issues or strain on the ears. Ear cuffs stayed cool and crisp throughout even on the tense high stress levels!! 9/10 only because of the sound quality but that’s my personal opinion being pedantic.

      Solid as a rock.

I had been using a pair of Tritton Triggers for nearly 7 years before I decided it was time to upgrade to a better headset.

I spent ages researching and looking into headsets, and I wasn't sure what I was getting with this. I am no audiophile, however I am also not deaf to good sound quality. the sound is very good, lacking a little base from time to time, but the overall noise is balanced and very comfortable to listen to.

The build quality is phenomenal, unlike what I expected. The cups are well padded, the band comfortable and the overall headset built with minimal flex. I was very surprised and very happy with these, and I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a headset.

Volume adjustment wheel jams within 3 months

For the price, these are great wireless headphones. The distance is severely impacted by walls, etc but still decent. An issue I have is that it will randomly say "auto-shutdown initiated" and "auto-shutdown cancelled" when in the middle of a movie or game - it doesn't actually turn off or pause the sound, but it will randomly say those phrases - annoying at times but does not occur enough for it to put me off. HOWEVER, after using these headphones extensively for under 3 months, the wheel to adjust the volume has jammed out of absolutely nowhere. I can now no longer adjust the volume on the headset via the headset itself, which is annoying and definitely should not happen within 3 months of a brand new purchase. Would I recommend these? Probably, as for the price range they are still apt, but I personally will probably stick to Logitech or something.

Fantastic product, though mic and 7.1 are a little lacking

EDIT: There is one more, very small gripe with this headset and that is the volum wheel on the back of the headset is very sensitive to touch. I think a click wheel or a veritcle slider would have been a better option, but alas. Just be careful when taking off/putting the head set on.

Sounds perfect! Exactly what I'm used to and how I like it.

I've tried out the 7.1 surround sound and, honestly, it's kind of lacking in my books. I'm no audiophile so I can't pinpoint what exactly is wrong, but it makes things sound...Slightly garbled on the bass and lower toned fronts. Using the Windows Spacial sound offers some surround sound, but it's not a whole lot. It's perfect for me, who plays mostly MMO's and single player games over FPS's where surroundsound is a near essential. The normal stereo sound is perfect; clear, crisp, exactly what I'd expect from Corsair products.

The microphone, while usable, is somewhat tinny sounding compared to previous headset microphones I've used and it sounds quiet even with the receiving settings set to high. It's functional though you may get complaints while in discord or through other communication platforms over time.

The ear cups are comfortable and are perfectly usable for those with glasses, and the cross stitching in the headband is a very nice cosmetic touch. It's early days yet, so I can't say how (or if) prolonged periods will cause discomfort.

All round, a solid 4.5! The faux surround and microphone quality is what holds it back from a full 5*.

good headset let down by various issues

The headset itself is great, sound quality is good, mic quality is good and it does what i need it to do.however there's some places it really lets me down, the built in 7.1 surround sound is really bad, sounds like i'm in a boxed room. this is fixed by using something like Dolby Atmos which works nicely with this headset. the auto shut off feature is honestly god awful it will scream in your ear every 5 minutes or so AUTO SHUTDOWN INITIATED. while I'm playing a game comparatively not only is just hearing that a distraction but then it goes on to not auto shutdown but to beep in my ear at full volume for about an hour or until my game ends so i can open ICUE and turn auto shut down off. Then i will be in another game just for it to do it again. CORSAIR FIX THIS NOW. Sometimes the mic will randomly turn itself on and off but the headset wont tell me so my friends will constantly ask me why I'm only saying half sentences. really annoying especially if its about the game being played and i'm trying to relay useful info to my teamfor an example of this i might say something like. "guys they have the objective"but my team hears "guys they have"please fix this.all in all the headphones are good but as a headset for gaming definitely needs some updates

      Gaming headphones

Great head phones, bought these to play on my flight simulator and to use with my head tracking hardware. The audio quality is crisp and sharp, it packs a good bass, when listening to streaming music. Good audio quality in games. The headphones are heavy and can hurt the ears a little due to the weight. The microphone is good but you can purchase a external if you want. For now this was a good purchase really happy with it.

      Ah could be worst, 4/10

      Ah could be worst
IF you are gamer, just close this Tab and forget as a bad dream

      Minuses -

      * Microphone - definitely is not for gaming . I'm playing League of Legends and im using Discord, and my mates are very unhappy about my microphone because its very quiet, i have no idea how this headset has discord Certified, microphone sound is so disgusting.

      * Earpads - your ears will be always sweating.

      * Top part of headset what are on the top of your head is very uncomfortable.

      Positive -

*Bass - sounds very nice, and loud . can fell how earpads are jumping and that nice

*Sound - Nice and clean sound for that price, thumb up for that

*Quality of material (plastic)- feels nice, feels like expensive headset . Good

      Conclusion -
Good sound and good quality material plastic, But very bad microphone. If you are gamer as me i highly don't recommend this headset. Even Chinese 15-20 pound headset has better and louder microphone.

I actually wanted to return them cause of bad mic, but I'm too lazy))))))

      Best Wireless headset under £100

I really, really like this headset.
Build quality is super good and it looks really good! A subtle looking headset as opposed to looking like a scouter from Dragon Ball Z. Not that I wouldn't mind having one like that.

      Good Points:
      Build quality is top notch
Adjustable sliders on both sides are great and lock into place well
Ear cups are super soft and make a good seal around your ear without touching it, also have good angles of swivle to fit onto any head shape
Encountered zero wireless connectivity issues and next to no latency
Mic is decent too, wish the arm was just slightly stiffer but having said that, it does hold position with no problem (no quality complaints from other players)
Sound quality is super fine, crisp and clean sound production
Controls are easily accessible and useable
Battery life is decent too, I charge once every three ish days with around 3/4 hours gaming a day

      Not so Good points:
I feel as though they're slightly larger around my head than other headsets with the adjusters in the default placement
Do get a tiny bit warm after longer gaming sessions
No wired capability however, you can plug in to charge and play simultaneously (other people in a game party will hear a buzz and will be annoyed so I don't recommend )

Best Wireless Headset under £100 and others seem to agree also best subtle looking gaming headset

      Good audio. Almost completely comfortable.

It can get a bit tight on the ears after a couple hours, and gets a bit sweaty if you leave it around your neck, which I've been doing when the weather was hotter than usual. The mic sensitivity is great paired with Discord and with MS Teams, as I sometimes play music or have the chat audio come out my speakers and the mic still only picks up my voice. If I put the headset down on my desk and point the mic at my face it generally picks me up as long as I don't lean away from the table too far.Battery life is pretty good but if you're on it all evening every day you'll want to get in the habit of leaving it charging. Using it while charging isn't an issue, the port is on the left side.I haven't used it specifically to listen to music like some audiophiles might want headphones for; I would say bass is quite good for games but not doesn't really enhance dance music etc. All the other headsets I was considering with similar build quality were over £100, so happy with this.

      Good

These headphones sound terrible. I bought them to replace my 10year old Xbox wired headset. But is so much better than these tinny horrible Corsair cans. Disappointed.

Update. Received in may. Yesterday microphone stopped working but old fashioned iPhone headphone into a microphone and headphone splitter works fine. Worst headset I’ve ever used

Update again. Tried them on PS4 controller and they were great. Turns out my splitter I to pc wasn’t fully seated. Doh

Actually pretty cool if you actually plug them in properly!!
