I had the docking station kind of requirement. I needed to connect my HDMI monitor and USB mouse-keyboard. My new Dell laptop has a USB-C type port which is also a Thunderbolt and DisplayPort.My new Dell laptop along with some USB port and HDMI port also has a USB-C type port which could act as ThunderBolt port and DisplayPort.I connected this UGREEN usb-c hub to my laptop and then connected all my devices including HDMI monitor to this hub which just simply worked.

HDMI works fine, but the USB3 ports are pretty unresponsive when using a USB mouse and essentially non-responsive with my keyboard - seems to be a typical issue with USB 3.0 when using 2.4 Ghz accessories. I have an old USB 2.0 hub, when I plug this into the UGREEN hub and use it for the mouse and keyboard, they work fine. Just to be aware of in case the intention is to use this in order to plug in a USB mouse or keyboard.

A very nice adapter from Ugreen. Good quality, great stylish design and build material and overall works very well. I have been using most ports on a daily basis without issues and can definitely recommend it.

It does not work:- surface go: did not drive the external display while the mouse and keyboard worked- HP Elitebook (to test in case the Surface Go is just too weak): drove the display with a grainy picture, hence I consider it non functionalWill try to return this crap

I've been using this since May 20 and during that time it's run the third screen, network, keyboard and headset pretty much with my laptop running 24/7. Not had a single issue so far though it does run quite hot, whether that is leads to problems going forwards we'll just have to wait and see. I'll update this review if it breaks...... No update then it's still going!OK it's now June 2021 and after 13 months one of the usb sockets is dead and the cable is loose from the join with the USB c plug. Bit disappointing really.

It's the best thing I've bought in ages. I bought a different brand before and it didn't work and had to return and to see that this was my h cheaper and had a lot of ports in it. And also a brand I trust slot as well.i would highly recommend for anyone who's having issues with phones and broken screens with a USB-C port could actually help alot.

I have a little Dell laptop, which has no USB ports, it is therefore impossible to save any of my work, or attach any peripherals. This USB C Hub works wonders, it just plugs into the side of my laptop and I can now use a separate wireless mouse and save to a USB pen drive. It works brilliantly, I would highly recommend it.

Nowadays, new laptops are getting thinner and more portable at the expense of losing many of their USB-A ports, HDMI ports, and SD card ports.
I searched extensively for a reasonably priced USB hub for my laptop and for desktop computer – and after doing a few minutes of research, I decided on this USB hub because of its Price, Size, and Functionality.

This device has all of the most common ports that most people use:
• 3x USB 3.0 ports – (for faster data transfer).
Since it’s USB 3.0 - it is fast (up to 5 Gbps transfer speed) and backwards compatible with 2.0 and lower USB devices too.
I haven’t noticed any connection drops or any other problems!

• 1x HDMI port – (in case you need it to connect a second display) – I didn't really have a use for it as of now.
• 1x SD slot – to import data from the memory card from your camera/recorder etc.
• 1x TF card (microSD card) slot – in case if you don’t have an SD adapter for microSD.
I have only tested this product with microSD cards, not SD cards.
Using two different microSD cards with different speeds (SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB microSDXC and Samsung EVO Select 128GB microSDXC) – I transferred 8GB of data and each of these transfers were extremely fast.
Obviously, the different card speeds displayed different times – however each were completed within minutes (whereas usually I would have started the transfer and got up to do something else).

Amazing product! Top notch quality, feels great! I would highly recommend this usb hub for anybody looking for one. Nothing wrong with it when it came in the package and it’s really helpful for those extra USB ports... the two SD card ports are a nice added bonus for people who work with mini and normal size SD cards (e.g photographers or videographers). As said before would recommend this 10/10.

The item was ok but when I tried it was not working, so unfortunately I had to send it back. I was looking for a reader to plug into my iPad, to transfer files from pc to iPad.Nothing happened.Now refunded, check what you need before purchasing.
