This motadia standard hook ratchet straps come in a pack of 4 with standard S hooks, really usefull securing straps.The work load capacity is up to 350kg .Each strap is 3 metres long.They have a rugged design and look good hung up in the shed.A very usefull product!

This item never had the actual straps only the ratchets were present.

These are great quality ratchet straps which i use for my trailer, really good price for how good they are!

The Straps are well made and long enough for most applications, the ratchets are a Little bit small and could be better made BUT for the money they work well enough. The rubber covers on the release and tension levers help when you have cold hands. I used the straps to hold down my motorcycle when its on the work bench and used for transporting on the trailer. They held everything down nice and securely and there was very little stretch which is good, have not tried these in the wet yet when you would expect some ingress and stretching of the strap…. but for the moment they look more than adequate. Happy to recommend these.

Terrible quality, straps are flimsy. 1 strap failed on first use, another is frayed. Used 2 straps to hold a 40kg kids quad, so should have more than managed

Quality, strong and well made, i loved them. They are supplied in a plastic rack that you can keep them in. IOked the fact that the stitching was doubke and was well quality checked. These are definately to EN12195. They don't snap from tension too when you release them. The S hooks are ok and covered in hard coated plastic dipping. The tails are 3m and the ratchet ends about a 1/4m if not slightly less. They worked well in the tests i did moving a washing machine in my van! Very very strong, they will certianly live up to the 350kg rating. Highly recommended. Andrew

Overall these 'MotoDia Standard Hook Ratchet Strap, 4 Pack' are okay but there are no instructions as to how to operate them. Perhaps they think that if you want to buy them, then you should know how they work. Or perhaps, giving them the benefit of the doubt, mine just didn't have the instruction leaflet inside the packaging. I found out how to string the mechanism up properly and how to operate it, via a video I found online and then they worked as they should.The plastic display unit the straps came in is really weird. It is a chunky plastic case with the 4 end straps in the base and the other 4 straps, with the ratchet mechanism attached, in the top part. To get to the bottom straps you have to take off a difficult to remove plastic back plate and the top straps have to have a screw removed, from the back, to release them. I don't think you could get the strap parts back in it neatly enough again to use the case as storage, so I don't know the point of it really. I am planning to keep the straps, when not in use, in a drawer in the garage.We store our collapsible garden table and chairs in an area by the greenhouse over winter, so it is imperative that they are not blown over by the wind into the glass. This strap will hold them in place really well. I don't know if the straps and mechanism are totally weather proof but we cover the items in a waterproof tarpaulin, so that won't be a problem.The remaining straps will be good for holding large items up to hooks on rafters in the garage, like the massive bubble glazing roll, in the summertime when it is not being used in the greenhouse.

I've bought these before from a certain "now closed down" place and they weren't that cheap, these are a lot more sensibly priced. You get four and it comes on a surprisingly heavy storage thing which they all fit into which is pretty good for keeping them hung in a garage or whatever.The mechanisms and stuff all seemed to work fine when I was testing and they seem good enough to hold anything, obviously sensible precautions you should be doubling up on any strapping in critical situations anyway.No issues.
