This keyboard is a great choice when looking for a cheaper option, but it still gives you a functional design that’s relatively easy for typing or gaming with a regular membrane keyboard. Personally, I was looking for a keyboard with keys similar to ones you’d find on a laptop - this one has them. The keys are low profile and need minimal travel to give you an input which can makes for seamless typing whilst they still give you decent feedback. It’s also on the quieter side which is much appreciated useful when working around others.
The drivers also installed instantly on my Windows 10 PC so it was ready to use instantly with no effort. Windows 98, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, and Mac OS are supposedly supported also. I’ve tested on Linux too, at it worked straight away for me.
As for the shape and size, this is a very lightweight and slimline keyboard which aesthetically looks good, but won’t go sliding around the place as it has grip underneath. You could argue this slimness of the keyboard makes it weak, as it can be bent really easily.
It also comes with foldable feet at the back which click into place solidly as they prop up the keyboard at a comfortable angle. Another nice feature are the drain holes at the bottom in case of a liquid spill – this has saved me once!
As for cons, there’s not much I can realistically pick out from my experience over a few months. I’m sceptical on how long it will take for the white characters to start fading, but they are fine so far. it’s definitely great for the price and much better than others I’ve tried around this price point (but obviously nothing special compared to a mechanical keyboard or even a more expensive membrane keyboard). Would recommend!
