There is an on/off button which turns on a blue light ; but in fact the speakers are always on, blue light or not. And the volume control doesn’t work. I do online transcription work, and I need to be able to adjust volume according to how loudly or softly each individual is speaking. All in all, these speakers are a waste of money.Further comment, added six months after purchase — today they packed up completely. WHAT a con.

If you have a basic set up, and space is at a premium, then this these speakers are for you! 5W RMS is loud enough for most uses (I don't know where the 28W figure comes from??). Connection is really easy, in that there is a 3.5mm stereo jack, and 1 x USB connector. Just plug in, it & it works! Very easy.When you switch off your computer, then it also switches off, although there is a power switch. Overall, 11 out of 10, thoroughly recommend this seller, and this product!!!!

These speakers sound like I am playing music or sounds from inside a can, not as reported by some people as very good... given that they were cheap speakers but in our days where technology has advanced so much including in speakers, I did expect better... my moto G4 mobile has better sound than these..surely if a miniaturised mobile speaker can sound better surely these could be way better for the price. I am sorry to say I am disappointed. Especially after having read good reviews on these...Having said that they do have some loud sound and for that they get a 2 instead of a 1.

For a set of speakers that I use for Skype calls they are excellent value. I like the volume control that i can adjust on the speakers without having to use the pc volume control. I also like the on off switch that I csn control without having to disconnect the speakers. Great value. Not for gaming or music but for spoken word they do a great job for the price.

The volume and sound quality on these speakers is decent, especially for the price. I was pleased with them - except that after a few weeks they started switching themselves off. At first it was rare but it became more and more common. It's a shame. They perform pretty well, they just don't last very long.

I bought these speakers as my old ones which id had for years and were fab .. (and i would recommend them to anyone) I thought they died .. in fact it was a computer error.. anyway, these speakers are very basic, the on/off button does not always work properly and sound quality is pretty poor. Its on or off, no bass levels or options to remove the tin sound. My opinion is,, buy better, the price here is good but there is lots of truth in you get what you pay for. Have a good day and remember an extra fiver is worth it in the long run xx

Nice and neat design that sit discretely in the background. Cannot really comment on sound quality as I don’t use them for music, but they give a good, clear sound when playing movies on my laptop, especially vintage movies that don’t always broadcast with the best quality sound. I’m really pleased with them.

I've bought 3 sets of these now. I needed some cheap speakers for a communication project using Raspberry Pi's around the house. Sound quality isn't important so cheap ones was all I needed.I did buy some cheaper units, but they were really awful. Sound quality was atrocious and they soon failed as well.The construction and sound quality from these is very good considering the price, but there is noticeable hiss as soon as you get to higher volumes. You wont be having these on for a party but as a cheap alternative to a laptop speaker or a project like mine, they're fine.

For price, the sound etc was fine

The problem is that I bought this mid April 2020
And they're already blown and unusable by mid October 2020
