Description

You don't have to avoid bathing just because you're wearing a plaster or bandage. Simply apply the Mighty-X waterproof cast cover leg protection when you want to have a shower. Mighty-X waterproof cover for plaster cast is very thin, so it is not recommended for swimming or water sports. The design team aimed to create a thin unobtrusive liner that feels comfortable when showering.

How to Use Mighty-X Leg Cast Cover:

- Do not overstretch the opening of your plaster cast waterproof cover leg protector but gently pull it over your cast or bandage.

- Carefully pull your waterproof leg protector for showering up by the corners as high as it will comfortably go.

- Slide it up to your leg past your bandage or plaster. Then, release any trapped air from inside your waterproof leg cover for shower.

- Smoothing the seal all the way around your broken leg shower protector creates a band that must be visible on the skin. Pull back down slightly to complete the seal.

- You are now ready to use your leg cast waterproof cover.

Mighty-X waterproof foot cover for shower design will keep your injury dry. Also, our cast cover leg adult liner is latex-free! Our product is also known as a waterproof shower boot.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your cast protector waterproof leg protector's features, let us know so we can make things right.

      100% waterproof

Was long enough to cover my bandage could have done with it being narrower l have small feet so not sure how would fit on a man size 11 foot the top is stretchy enough to fit close to ones leg and as yet hasn't lost its stretchability l have used it every day for a month so was worth it l was skeptical as to whether it would work it does

      50% reasonable.

One of the two covers had split at the seam so was useless, unfortunately. The other was reasonable. I can see it would have done the job if I had not had to stretch it around the boot I have as unfortunately the boot is wider than my leg so the top is a little loose once it is in place. Again I feel this would have been fine if the boot was smaller in size but just one to watch out for if you’re ordering it to go over something with a larger heel or that’s very bulky.Condensation did occur but I suspect that would happen with any other product.

      A great product... but...

This product would have been amazing had it worked for me. I want to be fair in my review because it could have been my error and not the product’s. I had a soft cast put on my my local hospital but desperately needed a shower. This product looks much better than the others because it was clear it would stretch easily over the cast. It was a really well made product and stretched over my cast and sealed... but, somehow it leaked and I am thinking it might have been when I moved my body... I immediately felt a different kind of warmth on my leg and quickly finished showering. It had leaked. Not loads but enough for me not to use the product again. Is it a good product? Yes. But I would have appreciated a user warning about possible slippage when showering. The seal was great but it surely isn’t supposed to move when you shower. Knowing this, if I ever did need to use this product again, I would... but I’d only give it 1 more chance before discarding and seeking a refund.

      Works a charm

The plastic is decent thickness so there's no need to worry about it tearing under normal use. The size is large enough that it covers well, though on the shorter leg it may be a bit baggy - but it's not there as a fashion statement so it's not an issue. The hole at the top seems ok, though I'd imagine after a few showers it's likely to stretch, but at the price it's not a problem.Do be careful on tiled or smooth floors - water and plastic can make for a slippery combination, especially since you'll have an existing leg problem (hence why you're wearing it in the first place).

      Works brilliantly

My wife very inconsiderately went and broke her ankle at the start of the 6 weeks school holiday. Extreme lengths to get out of having to entertain our 3 young ones for the summer.

Anyway, in addition to having to deal with the three kids I also have to help the wife with certain tasks. Getting in and out of the bath/shower being one of them. Initially we were trying to keep her cast dry using bin bags and gaffer tape. I mean, it was good enough to wrap up corpses so why not. It was a ball ache though so we needed a simpler solution.

We found these bad boys and haven't looked back since. Very simple to put on and take off and have remained drip free on the inside. The pack comes with 2 but so far we've only had to use the one.

Highly recommended for any other clumsy brittle boned wives out there.

      Worked a Treat!

Needed something to cover dressings on the back of my heel whilst showering and this worked perfectly. Far better than one that I had in the past with a rubber seal and cost less too, so that's a bonus! Only thing that would have made things better would have been being able to buy a shorter one, but, hey, you can't everything, and this, as I said, worked a treat and the only dampness on the inside was on the bottom of my foot from condensation, which didn't affect the dressing at all and was something that the seller had mentioned. Very happy to be able to shower again.

      Worked three times

Initial reaction: £10 for two plastic bags!!!However, the clever thick plastic stretches over your cast and immediately regains its shape to seal around your leg. There is NO elastic.Pack of two, the first one lasted three showers and leaked on the fourth. There was about an eggcup full of water so definitely not just condensation.

      Waterproof leg cover

I recently had a foot operation that was covered with a thick, padded bandage. I have been using the waterproof leg cover for 2 weeks and so far, my foot has remained completely dry. I had to stretch the opening quite a lot to get it past the bandage and I was concerned that it would then leak. It didn't and it sealed around my knee tightly. I'm not sure if you would be able to fit a cast through the opening but a large bandage has been fine.

Uprepossessing packaging - but the product works very well.

Although the packaging is dull and the two plastic bags inside look huge, they actually work very well. They're identical and vaguely foot shaped (think 'Christmas Stocking', without the red and white. And green.). They're clear, so you can see anything that might be going on inside once they're on. Read the comments written on your cast, if you're bored. There is quite a small opening at one end - 'no way', I thought...but it stretches. I gave it a good pull and there was no sign of it tearing/breaking/coming apart at the seams. I put my leg inside (without a cast, but there's plenty of room for a cast, obviously!) and slid it up my leg. Actually, I sort of placed the opening above my knee, where it just stayed there...having stretched to get my leg in, it then regained its shape and gripped my leg tightly. Now, I'm not a big person (5'1" and 123lbs), but I did wonder if it might be uncomfortable if kept on for a long time. For me, for five minutes, it was fine.I got in the bath...and submerged the leg. The leg remained perfectly dry. What more can you ask for? It's certainly reusable - I can't tell you for how many times, but you get two and I can't see the 'stretchiness' becoming un-stretchy very soon, so, yes, if I had a cast and I wanted to have a good wash while keeping the cast dry, I would certainly use this product. Why did I try this product when I don't have a cast? Good question. "Be Prepared", I suppose!

      Tight first time use

The opening for your foot to go through was particularly tight, and a little difficult to get on for first use (whilst in pain) subsequent uses were fine. Did it’s job and kept the leg cast dry. Only one needed so maybe give option to purchase one
