2 major flaws, not fit for purpose.

1. The volume of the other person's voice is too quiet. It's not obvious how to change the volume setting so most people won't even figure it out. I looked it up and set the volume to maximum but it's still too quiet. Given the vast amount of people who have hearing issues this just isn't acceptable. Being able to hear the other person is a basic feature. -2 stars.

2. There's no speaker mode. Given that every call center puts you on hold for ages this is an essential feature for any telephone. -1 star.

I bought this for my elderly mother who ppfell while rushing to get the phone. Leads and phones in every room . I do tell her that's so last decade. I have the same phone in my home and find it a good product. Easy to use . The ability to change the speaker volume is useful and not a bad ringtone. The battery life is good .Hopefully my mother will keep this with her and charge it when asleep .From my own experience the call blocking and do not disturb functions are useful

As a phone it works, and that is all there is to say that is good. The tiny screen on the handset and the 'font' used make it virtually unreadable. The menus, call list etc are very hard to use. The Call Blocker thing seems to take precedence over more important things. When there is a 'new call' that you have missed, you can see who it was, but have to fight to see when it was, and the notification does not go away very easily, so you never know when it really means it. Just simply frustrating to use. Feels flimsy, too. Sound quality just OK, no 'speakerphone' option that I have found, - no easy one anyway - and although you can adjust the volume it is hard to find out where, and can't easily do it whilst in use. I am going back to my old panasonic phone, which is only a single handset, but much easier to use.

A good no frills cordless telephone. I bought this for my elderly mother when her old phone broke. It arrived the next day and she was delighted

It is doing the job for us. It is small and fits nicely onto our table. we use it to make and receive calls but we don't use any of the other features.

I bought this phone as I needed a simple handset for a new phone line. I wish I’d spent a bit more. It’s useless. The ring volume is very low even turned up full and you can’t hear the person at the other end no matter how hard you press the speaker against your ear. There’s no facility to use hand free/speakerphone either. A complete waste of money, don’t bother!

I would have thought that a speakerphone was a standard feature. I purchased these for my elderly parents but I didn't realise that there was no speakerphone until I had set it up and used it. They need this facility so that both of them can hear their Son in Canada when he rings them. Very dissapointed.

Ordered this for my grandparents who are hard of hearing. Terrible sound quality even for somebody who has perfect hearing. Cannot hear the phone ring and cannot hear the other person on the other end even after adjusting the volume level. On a plus note the phone is very sturdy.

I had a BT Freeview 750 setup with three handsets. Since the base unit can cope with five handsets I bought two of these Everyday phones to make up the number since you can't get Freeview 750 phones easily anymore.They both registered to the base - but they can only make and receive calls. Much other functionality is lost, including the phone book. To be fair you are warned about this in the manual. And the full manual isn't included in the box; you have to get it online. If you don't mind that, it's fine as an extra handset.

Pathetic device. Rings nice and loud, but the calls is never loud enough and slightly muffled.Nothing remotely quality about this product. It's cheap.Don't be fooled by the list of features, as they prove to be useless in practical use.
