      Scrolling is unacceptable

When you pay £90 just for a mouse you expect quality product. I have no issues with ergonomics design (however it could still be better) or built quality, but with one of the fundamental functions - scrolling. How this mouse can be rated 4.6 out of 5 is beyond my mind. The scrolling is absolutely awful. Playing with settings don't change much, you always end up with some compromise this way or other. It is buggy, scrolls inconsistently and at random speeds, sometimes don't actually move at all upon first scroll and you never know how far it will go when it finally move.Seriously, this is not what you expect from £90 mouse, my 4 years old £20 mouse feels far better. Search for MX Master 3 scrolling issues and read before buy.

      Used for almost 2 weeks

      Its really well made:
      No comfort issue
Excellent battery and easy USB C charging
      Great software customisation
      Great number of hardware controls
Good logitech software to use across multiple OS seamlessly.
The quality of details put in is very good

      However,
the gesture button can be hard to click sometimes
The customised button does not always work in the software
Not entirely made for gaming (but you should know that before buying)
Its a steep price for not as much day to day gain.

      Best Wireless Mouse

I’m upgrading from a SteelSeries WoW Cataclysm Mouse, which was a wired MMO mouse, since I don't play games or even MMO’s anymore and it was starting to become faulty i thought i’d upgrade, and i figured i’d upgrade to a wireless mouse since the technology has come a long way in the past few years. (Included photo next to my old mouse)

And oh boy it has come a very long way, i remember my first wireless mouse was a dell one, and i remember playing games on it was so bad, you could see and feel the input lag, and that mouse honestly put me off wireless peripherals forever, but I heard a lot of good stuff about the technology logitech uses in their mouses so it bought back some hope for me, and this mouse has solidified that hope in concrete because it's amazing and you honestly can’t even tell it's wireless.

I got this one over the other wireless mice they have because it is more feature rich and looks more comfortable in the hand, it has a scroll wheel on the side, which to be honest would be useless for most people, but for me it helps because i draw in photoshop and it's good for scrolling sideways across the canvas, the only downside to the scroll wheel on the side is that the back and forward side buttons are in a very awkward position and difficult to press ,and they are small and close together so you find yourself hitting either the wrong one or both, now this doesn’t bother me too much as I don't use them often, but I imagine it's something you can very easily get used too.

Like i said earlier, you can’t even tell it's a wireless mouse, it's so responsive and there is no lag at all, not that the human eye can see anyway, if you recorded it and put it in super slow mo then you could probably see, but if you want to play FPS games you totally can and would have no disadvantage against people playing with wired mouse.

Also, I should mention the scroll wheel has two modes, and i find it hard to explain but I will try my best, one mode is like a traditional mouse wheel scroll where you keep feeling tactile bumps as you’re scrolling, and the other removes the feedback and makes it so you can spin the wheel like you’re spinning a prize wheel, it goes insanely fast, i don’t see an application where this would be useful, but I did see someone say it would be good for scrolling long word documents but you can just slick on the side where you want to be so in my opinion that wouldn’t be a very good use case, but hey ho you might find that super useful, i just don’t

Overall this is just a great wireless mouse and I really recommend it, it's got a great price, the build quality is amazing, the battery life is amazing, ive been using it for 5 days now (About 8 hours a day) and it's still on full bars! And as i mentioned earlier the only downside I can see if the side buttons being small and awkward.

      10/10 Highly Recommended.

Rechargeable, better battery life than most.

I wanted a replacement wireless mouse for my M705 which lasted about 8 years before dragging started to become erratic. Was also looking for something that had a built-in lithium-ion battery so I didn't have to keep replacing the batteries or pulling out the charger to recharge them (yes, lazy).

Was going to go for the MX Anywhere 2S because it was the next closest to the broken mouse but then learned the wheel couldn't be used as a middle mouse button. That was a deal breaker because I use it that way a lot for opening links in new windows. It's not rechargeable either.

Most wireless mice that have built-in batteries don't last longer than a working day or two. This claimed to last 3 months which is the same as my M705. This came pre-charged and lasted a month out-the-box at about 12 hours/day before I got the battery low warning. On a full charge and default settings I got about 360 hours out of it (just over a month) before it started flashing red on default settings which is a far cry from its 70 days claim. To be fair, I work from home and I game on the PC so if you were using it just for working hours only then it would meet that claim I guess.

It's heavier and it's also bigger than my previous mice. The wheel is of premium build but feels like it's placed at a lower angle because of the higher arc on the LHS. Takes some getting used to. It's smooth in speed mode and doesn't make a grinding, wobbling unstable sound like my M705 did. Regular mode has stops and are very light, so you can just feel them without having to scroll hard.

Setup is as simple as other wireless mice I've used. Just plug in and go. Don't even have to install the optional software unless you want to tailor shortcuts to specifically for different apps with the extra buttons.

It's better than other rechargeable mice I've used that only lasted a day or two but if you really care about battery power, I would stick with the Marathon models where you use your own batteries. You could just buy rechargeable ones and they're cheaper too without the overly high curve. One star off because its Marathon models are cheaper and lasts longer. Another off for ergonomics because I still haven't got used to the curves after months of using this.

      PROS
      - Still useable while recharging.
      - Non-proprietary USB-C, faster charging, fewer cables.
      - Battery lasted 360 hours (a month) for me.

      CONS
      - That high edge will take some getting used to.
      - You really only get about a month's worth heavy use.
      - Battery's a far cry from claimed 70 days.

Brilliant product - comfortable & functional

I use the mouse for productivity tasks, average use 10 hours per day.

I purchased this seeking a more comfortable, better quality and more functional daily mouse. This mouse met my expectations.

Using the Logitech Options software, which appears well supported (updates approx every 2 weeks), the keys are re-programmable. Personally I use middle click very frequently and programmed one of the side buttons for this, noticably reducing fatigue on my fingers.

When I first tried infinity scrolling I didn't like it. However, after giving it a go for a few hours I can't believe I got by without it for so long! It's great being able to smooth scroll (enabled in settings) and quickly and accurately navigate endless scrolling web pages. I now avoid going back to conventional scrolling mice where possible as the infinity scroll is far quicker and more comfortable to use.

By default the 'gesture' button, behind the scroll wheel, is to toggle infinity scroll. I set the infinity scroll to the thumb button in the base as I find this is the least comfortable button to use (requires a push rather than a gripping motion) and the least used function on the mouse for me.

I found the following button configurations ideal:
Gesture button click - task view
Gesture button & move mouse up - volume up
Gesture button & move mouse down - volume down
Gesture button & move mouse left - browser back
Gesture button & move mouse right - new e-mail

The buttons are so customisable whatever your task and use you'll be able to configure the mouse for comfortable and functional use.

The battery life of the mouse is excellent and lasts over a month even with 10 hours per day computer use. The battery can be charged whilst the mouse in use, using the provided micro USB lead. Note that the mouse can only be charged using the micro USB port and it only supports wireless data connectivity via Bluetooth or Logitech unifying receiver.

Ergonomically the mouse has a slight angle on it which makes for a comfortable design. Personally, I need a bit more rotation so place my index finger on the left click and middle finger on left to allow my wrist to be more relaxed. The mouse is still very comfortable when used like this.

Overall, both the hardware and software is excellent. I considered going for a cheaper mouse or a Logitech trackball mouse for ergonomic benefits, but have no regrets in choosing this mouse.
