Wow, this is a good iron. Really wish I'd got rid of the old one sooner. It takes half the amount of time to iron a shirt now. I wouldn't say I enjoy ironing now but this iron makes it a whole lot easier.

Very disappointed with this iron. Only 7 months old and the steam button has broken. I only use it once a week so not happy that the best feature has broken. All my previous irons have lasted a couple of years. Would not buy another like this.

This is the worst iron I have every used. It somehow managed to always burn itself and the clothes too. I used to have so much love for morphs Richards but after this I can’t. The cord length is extremely short too. Especially for the price you would expect a good item but no.

This iron is quite inexpensive, but its poor design means that it is bad value for money. There are several problems
1. the cable is far at the very least 30cm short so I have to use an extension cable, even in the kitchen with high level sockets.
2. The iron is not comfortable to use, and feels very clumsy.
3. The water reservoir volume indicator is oriented the wrong way round so overfilling the iron and water spilling onto the ironing board is routine.
4. The temperature wheel is poorly designed so it is very easy to accidentally adjust it without noticing.

My ironing is mainly good quality cotton or linen shirts, trousers including chinos type, and cotton pillowcases. Nothing fancy or complicated, so a basic iron should be able to cope.

This Iron is amazing, I have had many in my life and this is by far the best. It is not lightweight, but that is a good point, as far as I am concerned. The cord is big enough for me and the variations of heat are spot on. Just love this Iron, makes ironing less of a chore and Ironing has become more of a pleasure. Thank you

This iron was good value, saving approximately £45 I always purchase Morphy Richards and this is up to my expectations. Again excellent service on delivery

There is a saying: 'Spoiling the ship for a ha'porth of tar', and I think this iron from Morphy Richards falls into this category. In other words, why hinder the performance of a perfectly good steam iron (which it is) by stinting on the cable? It makes for a somewhat uncomfortable ironing experience at the very least.My former iron (of many years' standing) had a good two feet more cable than this.Morphy Richards - you are cheapskates!

The iron did not steam well and after 6 weeks began to discharge brown water when steaming which stained clothes.Also the dark red water tank meant it was difficult to see the water level. I would not buy this product again.

The cord length on this iron is too short to iron comfortably. I have to use extension lead although my ironing board is quite close to plug socket and the cord is also very stiff. Having said that the iron does its job very well , excellent steamer.

The best hand held irons put out a high quantity of continuous steam. The one replaced a previous iron the dog knocked on the floor and broke.
The Morphy is so much better in many ways.
