Description
The Waterpik WP-660UK White Ultra Professional water flosser removes bacteria deep between teeth and below gumline where brushing and traditional flossing cannot reach. It is clinically proven to be up to 50% more effective than dental floss and can remove up to 99.9% of plaque from treated areas.

The dental plaque removal tool is ideal for anyone who struggles with floss or interdental brushes, and it is great for implants, crowns, bridges, and veneers. It is also suitable for those with braces thanks to the specialist Orthodontic Tip.

      You won't be disappointed.

I have been using Waterpik for many years and I love them never need any work when i go and see the dentist. I find fossing difficult as my teeth are very close together but the Waterpik works wonders taking just 90 seconds twice aday. This model is the best one yet good tank volume even on level/power 10 on/off switch on handle giving more control and handy little storage holes for upto 2 extra colour coded heads.

      Worth every penny

I hated flossing the conventional way, especially since getting to the back teeth was awkward. So I'd never floss for more than a couple of days and get fed up. Went to dentist who said I had grade 2 gingivitis and that I should floss etc. Needless to say that wasn't gonna happen. Stumbled across this and ordered it. After using it each time after brushing my teeth, blood loss from the gums for the first few days was a concern. I continued and the bleeding stopped eventually after a week. Regular use am and pm for a total of 4 weeks and then a review with the dentist. No gingivitis!!!!!It's brilliant! Just don't switch it on before you put the flossing tool in the mouth, otherwise the pressure is high enough to do some serious damage to the eye!!!!

      Worth it

I’ve been using it for about 3 months now and it’s still just as strong as day one. Definitely recommend using warm/hot water in the filter and to wipe it clean when you’re done. I always use the strongest setting and oh man is it satisfying seeing small pieces of food getting shot out even after brushing thoroughly. The first time it’s a bit awkward getting the right hold and not spraying yourself everywhere but now I have it down to an art. Definitely take the head off the spraying part and store it inside a toothbrush holder or something to keep dust and things away from it. I only use the plaque remover head and would recommend that attachment over any of the other ones. My teeth just don’t feel as clean if I don’t use it, so 10/10 would recommend

      Who knew?

Really great for getting in the gum line and between the teeth and blasting them clean. Also very good at blasting out mould from the washing machine detergent draw.

      Very, very good

I was sceptical about how good this would be but decided to give it a go to try to slow or stop the development of periodontal disease and gum pockets. It was a sort of "try anything once" decision, aided by a judicious price reduction resulting, no doubt, from BargainFox tracking my interest in it.First impressions were of a slight disappointment; very plasticky (as you have to expect, I guess) and a part of you wonders how it comes to cost as much as it does. The mains cord is just long enough to be useful (in my bathroom) but the coiled hose which feeds the flosser head is too short really; another 15 or 20cm would be better. The instructions are pretty good, and there's an assortment of different heads / probes for the device. So far, I've really only used the "basic" one (there are three basic ones provided, colour coded). The periodontal probe looks pretty mean, and there are warnings only to use it on the lowest pump speeds.Operationally, no problems. It's simple to understand and simple to use. The reservoir holds enough for a good old cleaning session (and yes, DO read the bit about filling it with warm water - put cold in it and you'll be on the ceiling). I started cleaning on the lowest pressure setting and thought it a bit tame so cranked it up to pretty much max. Crikey. It's a little like having needles jabbed in your gums, but - without getting too nitty-gritty in the detail - you wouldn't believe the stuff this thing shifts from between your teeth and in your gums, especially the first time you use it.I've been using it for three days now and I'm impressed. My gums are noticeably less inclined to bleed when brushing and the slight inflammation I noticed, before using this machine, has gone. This is just using plain warm water twice a day though earlier today I did pour a few ml of 12% hydrogen peroxide into an almost-full reservoir of water to have a go at any bacterial activity. (NOTE: 12% peroxide is waaay too strong to be used undiluted, and don't even think about using even a dilute solution until you've got used to the way the jet of water behaves and how to manipulate the probe. It'll bleach your clothes if it gets on them, and if you get it in your eyes you're potentially in real trouble). Now thinking about buying a "portable" version for when I'm travelling. I shall miss this extra level of cleanliness when I'm away, if not.My only reservation is the plasticky lightweight build. Waterpik guarantee it for two years so we'll see. Otherwise I heartily recommend this to you if you have - or want to avoid - problems with gums.FOLLOWUP REVIEW 7 DEC: I try to make sure I use this at least once a day, ideally morning after breakfast and in the evening before bed. It's made a huge difference to my gum health; went for my 6 monthly hygienist and dentist checkup the other day and they both remarked on the significant improvement. Dentist said that periodontal disease which was becoming very evident has been stopped in its tracks, and largely disappeared. He reckons that if I keep going the way I am, the gum pockets which were forming will heal and prolong the life of my teeth and gums. I'm very, very pleased.

Very refined product. Easy to see why they are the market leaders.

Can't really fault this. I bought it to replace an old Braun irrigator that I mistakenly thought was broken. (Was actually a dodgy shaver adapter at fault.)
The Waterpik is nicer to use, mainly down to the tip design. Either machine is more than powerful enough for my needs. The Pikpocket tip option is interesting to me since I do have pockets under the gums, but for now I feel more comfortable directing a jet of water in there rather than pushing a soft tip into the gap. I will work on it though.

I don't use this as often as I'd like, but that's only because I don't have a power socket quite close enough to my bathroom sink or an appropriate shelf to place it on during use. Putting it on the corner of the bath can see it toppling in. Maybe the kitchen is the best place to use it when there's nobody around. :-)

I do think water flossers are best when used alongside real floss. I have gotten better at that since I realised that it's better to do a quick imperfect floss daily, rather than obsess about perfect form and thoroughness but take too long and hence not bother. The combination of string floss for between the teeth, and water flossing to finish up and then work on the gum line should be incredibly effective.

      very pleased.

The previous make i had lasted about 14 months before packing in so i read many reviews before purchasing this one This waterpik is highly rated by many product reviews and i'll also give it the thumbs up. It is certainly quieter than the previous make i used and comes with a variety of piks to cover most teeth/gum situations. Overall, very pleased.

      This has saved my teeth.

When the dentist said I had gum disease and I was not flossing enough I was upset and explained that flossing was a chore and I did not always think I was getting everything. My dentist advised I get this item so I bought it when I got back home and it arrived the next day. It has a few attachments but I just use the one and have it at setting 7, setting+ 8 and over are very powerful. At first, I used cold water but my teeth were too sensitive so put warm water in.When I first used it I could not believe the amount of food that came out of my mouth, I am still shocked at times. No amount of flossing would have been so effective - no wonder I had gum disease. Two weeks later I went back to the dentist and he told me the gum disease had cleared up. My mouth feels much cleaner now I use this. One of the best things I have bought in a long while.

      The best

Bought this and a travel one as have been having problems with my gums. If you are torn between the two I would definitely recommend getting the full size version. The two are not really comparable. Water tank in full size only needs filling once and you can change the pressure from 1 to 10. 5 is enough for me at the moment. As you can see it is actually quite compact and doesn’t take up much room on the sink. The portable one is massive and needed filling up 4 times in order to do all of my teeth. My teeth and gums feel super clean so will see what the hygienist says at my appointment today!

      Stopped working after a year!

I wish I discovered this product earlier!! It’s amazing in keeping my teeth clean. I dislike manual flossing and this seems to be the perfect solution. Can’t wait for my next dental visit for my dentist to assess the condition of my teeth and gums. Would highly recommend if you are thinking about it. The size is perfect too for my family of 3. My 6yo uses it and loves it too. Glad it fitted nicely in the corner of our sink.Update 3 Sep 2019.Our Waterpik stopped working exactly one year on. I am still trying to get in touch with their customer support which does not seem that helpful at the moment.
