We've been meaning to get one of these for years. This is so good, easy to use, accurate, instant, totally comfortable to use. It has auto-off after a few secs so battery won't drain. Can't fault it. Price seemed fair, delivery was next day. Big thank you.

We needed a thermometer for the little one that was easy to use, we had been using a under the armpit one which was a nightmare keeping it in place and took a while to give an accurate temp.This one is so easy, simply place in the ear anf you get an instant temperature. One of the best things you can buy as a parent to keep track of the little one when they are not well.

We have been using this product for one year. It shows the wrong temperature. We have been to a hospital recently and took it with us. Compare to two different doctor`s measurement 38.00 our measurement at the same time with this product was 37.00. We have changed cups as well and nothing changed. Also this one product can show different temperature at the same time.

We bought a digital mouth thermometer, which took too long with a wriggling baby. We bought a thermometer gun, which jst was't acurate for body temperatures. we then bought this. It's such a relief to measure our childs temperature and trust the result. This is essentially instant. I did look at other models and wen't with this one becuase of the speed of the reading. This is perfect for home use, I don't know what other features you'd need beyond this.

Huge instruction booklet comes with it but not necessary as it is so simple to use.

Only downside that we've found is that it's a little difficult to store in the box it comes with so we've had to find an alternative storage. However that is such a minor issue it's hardly worth mentioning!

Very accurate. Work extremely well. Great packaging. Gives a different warning as per temperature. 1 beep for normal, 2 beeps for high and 3 beeps for very high.Excellent value for money

This thermometer stopped working in August.
It is now useless.
It is grossly unfair the return window is only 1 month in duration.
I will NEVER buy another Braun thermometer again.
AVOID and spend your money elsewhere!!!

This is a very reliable and accurate thermometer. I've had this 10 months and buying another one for family as the fancy one with forehead scanners just don't work properly. They're too much messing about with buttons and clip ons. This one is switched on ready to go and is consistent and accurate.Someone said in a previous review that the reading is not the same in each ear - well it won't be cos or bodies are not machines in that sense. We're organic, so will vary slightly over different sides of our body.The reading may be a point of a degree out each side.But to be honest, common sense is our most useful tool. If you are hot and shivering - you're not well! The temperature reading helps to confirm what we see and feel, useful if you are not sure cos you're not experienced. If you're not sure then best thing to do is to get free medical advice from the NHS.A thermometer is not anything more than a tool to confirm what you see and feel. So the best tools are the basic simple ones that give good basic information. This does the job well.

This device was supposed to emit an audible signal (beeps) but the one we received did not. So back it went.A pity, because otherwise it was easy to use once I had learned it insisted on a new hygienic cover for each use. Much quicker than a mouth thermometer (about one second rather than a minute), and undoubtedly easier to use on fractious children.

The thermometer itself is very clear and easy to use but I wouldn’t say it’s reliable. I tried it on my son who was running a fever and after repeatedly checking his temperature it varied from 36.4 to 39.1! Luckily a friend let me borrow hers which was more consistent and a lot cheaper than what I paid for this. Save yourself some money and try a cheaper alternative because I really don’t think this is worth it.
