This module communicating in Z-Wave plus enables control of heating on its pilot wire input. It is DIN rail format, which can be installed directly in the table. It makes it possible to control an electric radiator equipped with pilot wire having 4 or 6 orders. This module can be controlled by the Z-Wave network and via a switch (two different orders depending on the two positions of the switch or the number of supports). *Note: the limit of 200W is not related to the heating power. Since the pilot wire module only sends an instruction to the pilot wire lead of the heater and is not itself connected to the heating supply, only negligible power is required. The pilot wire DIN rail module can control all types of heaters equipped with a pilot wire input, regardless of their input power: 3000 W, 4000 W and much more. Modern electric heaters are generally equipped with a pilot wire input, which makes it possible to manage different setpoint temperatures depending on the radiator's internal thermostat and the setpoint set on the radiator in question. All you have to do is connect it to the 230V power supply and to the pilot wire input of your heater so you can control the heater on its various orders. No need to add a pilot wire diode. The module itself can send the 6 specific orders on the pilot wire input of the heater: Comfort, Eco, Frost Free, Off, plus both orders available on some heaters: Comfort -1°C and comfort -2°C. The installation is very simple and the module allows you to connect up to 3 different switches. The switches can either control one of the different pilot wire commands, or they can be used to control another Z-Wave device remotely.
