      Very poor quality

      Definitely not worth the money !! As others have said the quality control is appalling. The toilet lid is a different tone of white compared to the seat,there are numerous marks on it,the paint is much thinner around the edge of the seat ,so much so it looks like you can see the grey primer underneath. The metal hinges grind as you raise and lower the seat and the toilet seat itself will never bang as it hits the toilet rim as the hinges are so tight you have to physically press down on the seat to lower it fully. I was going to buy one for my bathroom had it been suitable but it doesn't come close. The search for a quality toilet seat goes on .

      The best purchase by far for the last 10 years!!!

      The best toilet seat I have ever purchased. If I had any other toilets I would buy for those too. So fed up with toilet seats that never stay fixed, used to drive me mad! This is so tight, does not move a millimetre.

      That it does the job

      This is not the slow close that we thought it was and because we have a close coupling cistern the seat has to be held up when used by males. The actual seat was really good quality so its a real shame

      Strong iodine-like smell - Updated

      Just installed this. An OK seat, maybe a little thin. But the one star is for the genius that thought the odd iodine smell would go unnoticed. Whether it is part of the glue in the "moulded wood" or whether it was applied as a treatment afterwards, the product smells strongly and unpleasantly. If it stays I'll have to buy a new one, if it disappears I will come and write an update.Update 10 September: still stinks of iodine. Completely unnecessary and invasive smell. Avoid!

      Sturdy and nice

      Easy to install and looks nice as well. Feels sturdy and hasn't move as advertised. It is not a soft close seat though so do bear than in mind before buying.

      Sit comfortably

      OK for a month, went a little loose, easy to tighten, took me 5 mins to put in, and I bought two.

      Good quality, but plastic thingies to tighten under seat at back...

      Better than last one, looks good quality too 👌🏽
