Sew On tape provides simple, easy-to-use fabric closures for clothing, accessories, and home decorating. These sew-on fabric and clothing fasteners can be used instead of buttons, studs or zips and are washable by machine or dry cleaning. Snag Free Sew On fastener incorporates the hook and loop in one piece, with the soft loop buffering the hooks to reduce snagging and lint build up. The one-piece design also means no leftover hook-only or loop-only pieces. These clothing fasteners can be machine washed or dry cleaned. Cut tape to desired width and length. Machine- or hand-sew around edges and backstitch to secure. Note: For best results, use hook fastener on side of garment that faces away from the skin. Fastener can be washed or dry cleaned.       You don't need two different sides ie one looped and one soft. this does both so really easy to use

      Whilst it is velcro and it works perfectly well, ...

      Whilst it is velcro and it works perfectly well, the advertisement is misleading as it shows it to be in a box. What actually arrived were 2 lengths of velcro ( i ordered black and white) supposed to be 1 metre in length , one was longer than the other and neither were a meter. Would not buy form them again

      Too bulky for dolls’ clothes

      While this works fine, it’s nowhere near fine enough for the dolls’ clothes I make. I ended up ordering more suitable tape from China. It’s a shame I can’t find a U.K. supplier of the stuff. I’m sure this is grand for bigger projects but is too bulky for me.

      Good product

      Wasn’t to sure at first as it is the same each side, ie not one hook one loop, but works well and is less sharp then the hook side of normal Velcro so I would recommend this product.

      Repair for gortex coat wrist fastner

      Used this to repair the fastener on the wrist of my Haglofs wetproof jacket. Easy to sew on and good fastening. Arrived quickly too

      Sticky and difficult to sew

      Though these are supposed to be sew on, the back is sticky and this makes them extremely difficult to sew. I sewed them by hand and both my needle and my fingers were getting covered in the adhesive, making it impossible to push the needle through the cloth. I took to having a damp scrap of material on hand to clean the needle with, which works - but the whole task took much longer than it should.Once on they are effective, strong closers.

      Shockingly bad

      This stuff is absolutely useless!! Being the Velcro brand I didn’t bother to read the reviews, but really wish I had!!! This is one single piece which is supposed to be the hooks and loops in one however it does not work at all! My advice would be to avoid this at all costs!

      The most amazing velcro I have ever touched

      This is the most amazing velcro I have ever bought. Its so good I cried. It was delivered to me by horse and carriage earlier than expected. Velcro, velcro, velcro!

      The quality you would expect

      The strength, quality & durability you would expect from a Velcro brand product. Is reasonably supple and does not tray at the edges. Even after repeated use the hooks stay intact and don't break off like cheap brands.
