worked perfectly for a week...........I As I said, I am on my third one and still on the first bottle of gas, I now Can't get a constant flame when not in upright position.spews gas when not upright and then won't ignite for a few minutes unil you keep pressing the button switch and gas flow settles down, ignites with a litte flame and works when you hold it upside nown and shake it, this faithfull" torch has poor gas flow and failed quickly, ignition was good to be fair. I am now going to try the Dickie Dyer model on Bargain Foxwhich has good reveiws

Used with MAPP gas it lights easily, produces a easily controlled flame that is hotter than a normal blow lamp. I use it to free seized rusty nuts and bolts on my current project car and it soon gets them freed off but it would be suitable wherever a standard blow lamp might be used but with the benefit of instant lighting on pushing the starter button and instant off once released, with a hotter flame.

Used this product a couple of times and now the ignition has failed, can't get any gas out of it as its blocked, truly garbage piece of equipment.. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT..

Update:
After a month or so, it is evident this torch is quite poor:
- The jet flame becomes a flare with even the slightest tilt downwards
- It leaks gas for about a minute after you stop using it

I use Faithfull GZWORK Quick Pro Auto Power Torch in conjunction with GZ170 Gas Convertor and standard EN417 cartridges. Works like a treat.
Cartridges are very cheap if you buy in bulk, can go below 4 pounds each.

The torch itself is probably not the most amazing one on the market, but It works fine. I use it to start BBQ briquettes going. The auto start button does not manage to ignite every time, but is sufficiently reliable to not be annoying.

This was faulty when it arrived. The buttons that control gas flow had both jammed in the shut position and therefore no gas could be released. I took it to a local plumbers merchant that I know well and they could do nothing with it either. I returned it. It took over 3 weeks for the refund to be processed despite multiple requests and the item returned in it's original packaging. More hassle than it was worth and doesn't live up to ts name!

This blowtorch worked well for a couple of weeks and then just stopped working. I've tried different gas canisters and looked to check nothing is blocking the system but the gas just won't be released to burn.

I looked to get a replacement product but there isn't an option on Bargain Fox to return or replace this item. I wrote to Faithfull's customer service and they said that they couldn't help and I had to talk with Bargain Fox. Therefore, I can't return or replace the item and just have a broken product on my hands.

Very disappointing.

The torch arrived in good time and appeared good quality. I’ve had more expensive torches before ( which have lasted a couple of years regular use )and thought I’d “save money “ buying this much cheaper version. It was ok for the first few weeks then stopped igniting so not up to the job. Also couldn’t find details on how to contact the seller for an exchange. So stuck with it. You are better spending a lot more and buying a reliable tool.

The product worked fine for the first three times I used it, as luck would have it; I went to use it the day after the returns window closed (30 days) and it doesn’t work. Now have to light it with a lighter and play around with the gas flow in order to get it to ignite and burn correctly. Not happy!

Stopped working after 10 minute. Returned for credit.
