Worth every penny in my view, especially if you need every bit of noise reduction you can get. These give a higher level of noise reduction than cheapie ear defenders and are superbly comfortable to wear for longer periods. They do stick out a lot, meaning you might bump them against things in a cramped environment. And you look strange wearing them - but that is integral to the higher level of noise reduction they give. Saving hearing and reducing pain from loud sound is well worth these minor inconveniences. I get a lot of pain from loud sounds. I use these AND foam earplugs when using power tools and finally can have a bearable experience when using for example hammer action drills and impact drivers!

Very effective, at first I found them weird because it's a lot bigger than I thought (sticks out) but it wasn't a problem. It's good at blocking out sound from outside your room, I cant hear the TV or sounds from outside when I've got them on, I mainly use when it reading to block out distractions.

Very comfortable very stable on the head excellent design the width of the cups will interfere with a gun stock so look elsewhere for shooting muffs

Use it for meditation when I want quiet. Works very well!

This is the one I use when studying in a non-quiet environment. It keeps the sound out very well but I must have at least a 15min break every hour or so, the pressure it applies to your head does become irritating over long stretches of time. I have stretched the band manually to help loosen it but it still feels uncomfortable if I use it for anything longer than an hour at a time. It would be cool if ear defenders had a button or knob you could turn to loosen the pressure but I am yet to find one that does.

This is definitely worth the money. Buy it, put it on, and relaaaax. Fits comfortably and is lightweight for its size. I owned a cheaper one but this takes quietness to the next level.

They look crazy when wearing them but wow the noise reduction is crazy.Huge ear pods I mean huge ! but then as someone with tinitus I can't tell you how nice it is to know the hearing I have is protected from getting any worse. Don't take any risks with your hearing, it DOESN"T COME BACK!You hearing is one of the body's most amazing functions, and hearing isn't listening thats a skill we can develop, so protect it, these ear defenders cover a wide frequency range and reduce huge amount of dB's. They are comfortable and easy to adjust. You might look like your about to guide a landed airplane but it's a small price to pay for protecting hearing loss.

These are really effective - I think rated for quarry and explosives work - so just about ok for trying to work with small children in the house. If you use them with the soft silicone earplugs you get a really good frequency coverage. Well worth the extra few pounds.
