This is an excellent phone for people with poor eyesight and poor hearing. It is also simple to use. I bought it for my husband who can't use modern phones with small buttons. He is very pleased with the phone as it makes him connected to the family again.It was a very reasonable price. I would recommend it to all elderly people who may be struggling with smaller phones.

We bought this because my husband is hard of hearing and i need big buttons to dial. It is easy to use but we are sending it back because the person at other end cant hear us and we can only just hear them with the volume right up. It could could be a landline to mobile problem on handsfree but even the in your ear setting is not very clear sound and i have no hearing issues.

Good value as it was a refurbished product. Came well packaged as a new product would and with a guarantee. Bought for a visually -impaired relative, this is perfect. Big buttons make it easy to see. Would have preferred the 3 pre-set buttons to be larger or more obvious but a raised bump can be stuck on to help.

The phone was delivered well ahead of its schedule and well packaged. The large buttons make the phone look a bit "TOY TOWN" but would be great for people with eyesight problems. I purchased this item because one of its features was a loud ringtone. No one in my household would agree although the ringtone is a lttle louder than BT's other range of landline phones. There are 3# ringtone settings non of which are very loud. I doubt that I would puchase this item again even though it is very well made. We may consider purchasing a Repeater Ringer although this should not really be necessary.

Consistent with other reviews really. Bought for my 85 year old mother whose hearing is OK but coordination understandably a little weak. She can press the buttons well and the clarity of voice is good. There is a choice of ring tones although only a couple I would deem acceptable.There is also a volume control - handy if somewhere else in your accommodation.This model replaced an older (5 year old) similar model. This is smaller, sleeker, but otherwise does the job. For the purpose intended...pretty much hits the spot. Would recommend.

The big buttons were a talking point when we first got the phone, but now they are really practical.

Bought Dec 2018. Worked fine - big chunky buttons make it easy to use for older people, sound quality is reasonable. Died a death July 2020, 20 months later. Even these days, you really expect something like a phone to last a bit longer than 20 months. Looking for another brand now...

Bought this phone for my mum as she has bad hearing and eyesight and she loves the phone as it is a lot louder then her old phone and a lot clearer and ringing out is just one push of a button to contact us as she's 89 years old its a lot easier for her to use

took out of the bt box,activated the 4 aa batteries plugged in and it works perfectly,nice and loud .sound is also very clear.very pleased with it.perhaps should have gone for the model which includes caller id,but easy to use and really all we needed.

My old phone was exactly the same. I originally bought a different phone but ended up sending it back so I could get this one again. Some people think I am mad to get a big phone with big buttons as I do not have a sight impairment but It has so many good points - long cable, clarity on the phone, increase volume option, more than one ringing tone & I love the big buttons. I am more than happy
