Works a treat for home working!

I initially bought this as I was having more and more "Skype" calls at work and the headset I had wasn't very comfortable (and some people couldn't hear me very well.)This headset has been an absolute godsend in the last few days with the Corona Virus lockdown and home working - I can call my colleagues on Teams and hear / be heard perfectly. It's light enough to wear for prolonged periods - so long calls are no issue!Sound quality is excellent - not had any feedback on the noise cancelling.

Very good quality for the price, though not without its drawbacks. Does not include an audio mute...

Very comfortable to wear, the H390 looks the business, with faux-leather earcups and a padded headband. The USB connector is rather long and tends to get knocked; not ideal when listening to music on a laptop!

The sound quality is noticeably different to Logitech's older capacitive headphones, and I had to swap back and forth between my old pair and these for a while before I was able to persuade myself that new was better. In general I would say the sound is richer and definitely has more depth, but is perhaps slightly less sharp than some older Logitech headphones.

To note: the volume control is digital rather than capacitive, which means when you use the controls you are actually changing your PC's volume. As such, it has the annoying feature that it occasionally fails to work when watching videos in a brower, necessitating changing tab or exiting the program to adjust the volume on the headset. I would imagine this is due to the fact that the controls are attempting to adjust YouTube's volume levels instead and it doesn't work. This glitch aside, however, they are excellent and I appreciate the fact that companies like Logitech continue to include inline volume controls in their products.

The microphone is decently crisp; though definitely not professional-level it does well for online gaming and Skype. To note, while the product is advertised as having a 'mute button', this is in fact a microphone mute button and not for the headphones themselves.

Despite these niggles, the H390 is an excellent-quality set of headphones for the price and they come highly recommended.

UPDATE: After nearly two years of use one of the arms has become loose as a result of the small piece of plastic that clips it onto the headband snapping away. As it's seen daily use over around 22 months I'm not overly disappointed, though it does expose a slight design flaw; the frame of the arm is quite thin, with the bulk being an inlay which forms the interior of the design. If the frame is knocked or broken, the arm no longer ratchets effectively on the headband. I'll be ordering another H390 as I've been very happy with the audio quality.

Very glad I bought these.... still good even with what input in my update.

Well I got these as I cannot stand big bulky headphones, I had a really excellent pair of big bulky ones that were excellent quality sound for gaming, music, and conversation but the cord was so long it tangled with my pc chair, they were very clumsy and I hated using them.
This is why I purchased these Logitech’s, now there very light and good sound for film, gaming, conversation and music 🎶.
Not as much bass as my others but worth every penny in my opinion, good top end, medium is good and bass is more then enough for me I wish I could have these as my outdoor ones also for my iPod but unfortunately I wanted the usb connection as my headphone jack socket on my pc is very temperamental and standard jack just pops out grrrr.
You won’t be disappointed by these in my opinion.

      Update= 22 April
Well after using these lightly as I am careful with my stuff I found the adjustment on the left side has now gone and it won’t stay where I put it, just slides in or out and I have to tape it to keep it where I want it.
Come on Logitech you have never let me down, this is a minor inconvenience but still if your having to re adjust them it’s irritating 😠

      Very Good

Decent amount of bass and pretty clear for voice calls.

Worked perfectly straight away for me with Win7 and Win10.

You could certainly find fault with the sound quality if you were using them as your only set of headphones for listening to music, but you won't be doing that.

      USB Headset

I actually love this and would want to give it 5 stars. They are very comfortable and sound great. However, I only give it 3 stars as I have been through 3 pairs of these because the 'leather' part of the ear pads wear out and flake off into ears. Never had this issue with any other such accessories. I look after them well and only use them in the office. They should change that material or provide a couple of sets of spares. Also, after using these for a few hours they are not very comfortable. The older model was much more comfortable. One side of the band that has a ratchet type sizer is very loose so doesn't stay in place. Quality has gone down. Would not buy this again - only the older model. Now I just purchased a different usb headset that is so much better - Jabra

      they work

Delivery was very poor. Left on doorstep even though there was a clear note on the door as to where to leave them securely. They work fine. I am not sure the microphone is as sensitive as the specification suggests but it is 'adequate'.

      Product : Logitech H340 wired head-set.

Delivery : On time and well packaged - in BargainFox box as requested for security.
Condition : Item received undamaged - BargainFox boxed and in sturdy Logitech blister pack.

I like Logitech - everything they do just ... works .. well. No mess. No fuss. Out the box, in the computer, on the computer. Just works. The H340 headset is no exception.

Enforced working from home due to Covid-19 so started using Microsoft Teams for the morning meetings. Audio only. I have a desk fan on constantly ... thats just me, but the other members of the conference calls could hear my fan and it was disrupting the meetings. Ordered these, plugged them in. Next meeting - fan on - headset on. Problem solved. Thank you Logitech.

      Setup was a nightmare

These are ok for the price but setting them up took far too many tries over several days. Plug and play - no way! nearly sent them back but they did work eventually - i have no idea why, i didn't change anything from the day before when they wouldn't!When they are connected my computer will not make the switch to its own speakers even though they are offered as an option.Comfortable for an hour or so but had to have them on for a full afternoon and my ears got sore.

Quite good, but there is a problem with 'side tone'.

I have used this USB headset with Skype and Zoom on Windows 10, and with Skype on Linux Mint. (I haven't tried it with anything else yet).

The headset has large padded headphones that press against the ears. They are not large enough to completely surround the ears but they still provide a useful level of sound proofing. I found that they were comfortable for an hour or so but became a bit uncomfortable after two or three hours, squashing my ears against my head.
The microphone boom arm is attached to the left earphone and can be moved up and down by a large amount and moved in and out by a small amount, giving all the adjustment you need. Note that it cannot be rotated all the way round, which means you can't use it with the microphone on the right hand side.

When using with Windows 10 or Linux Mint there is no need to install a driver (and no driver is supplied). When I first used them, I could not hear my own voice when speaking, which gives the impression that the line is dead. (This was the same on Windows and Linux.) Most telephone systems have something called 'side tone' which means a small amount of your voice is fed back to the ear piece so that you know the line is working.
On Windows, you can adjust the side tone level in the device properties in Control Panel. There is a slider that goes from 0 to 100. (I use a value of 50 for the Sennheiser headset I use for work.) The control seems far too sensitive for this headset. Using a value of 1 with this headset give much more side tone than you would normally expect, which increases fatigue with prolonged use. Values of 2 and above are unbelievably loud and totally unusable. So you are left with a choice of no side tone, which is disconcerting, or too much side town, which is uncomfortable.
On Linux Mint, I could not find a way of adjusting side tone, so it is always disconcertingly quiet when you speak.
