I'm sorry to say but this is no good. Normally, I buy anything and everything from Gardena without thinking twice - their products are that good. In fact, their 'Turbo' auto-sprinkler is absolutely amazing, but I wanted a pulse sprinkler to cover part of the garden that a normal sprinkler does not (as it simply showers 'over' the range it covers, missing out on the bit between its maximum range and the sprinkler).

I have 3.5 bar pressure at my place, so water pressure is not an issue - this sprinkler would rotate to one side (the right) and then refuse to rotate to the left, effectively getting stuck in one position and constantly watering a single spot. I tried everything imaginable, but finally gave up. This wasn't a one-off either, I ordered two sprinklers and both had the same issue. I read a similar review elsewhere but chose to ignore it, thinking all the 4/5 stars couldn't be wrong.

If you want a good sprinkler, get the Gardena Turbo rotating sprinkler instead, it works and I've already got three at my place without issues.

The seller happily sent me a jiffy bag to return the item, so this feedback is not for the seller but the product.

I have to say that this is brilliant!! I don't mind watering the lawn but I have quiet a large lawn and this does the job perfectly!

All in all its not a bad product. I have a lawn about 117m2 and it covers most of it partly because I have to adjust it so it doesn't drench pavements or go into next doors garden.My main issue for not giving 5 stars is I've been running it for an hour and measuring how much water it's getting down and after an hours run it's about 5mm of water coverage. I measured in 2 spots in between max range and at the device. After an hours running that seems a bit of a waste. My guess is most of the water is at the end of the flow towards the edge. However if I adjust anymore then the range will be significantly reduced. I will do some more checks and adjust the review if needed.
