      Welcome back

Had one of these several years ago which was indispensible - but then time took it's toll and it passed on to hotbrush heaven without reincarnation - until now!Fond memories flood back of the occasional burst of hot steam that scalded the ear or scalp when the curl was wound too tight, but those temporary blisters were a badge of pride and small price to pay for the 80% success rate produced on very stubborn, very straight, and very fine hair (hands up if you know exactly where I'm coming from - I bet I wasn't the only one to bear those battle scars)!Dear reader, with such fond remembrance, you may wonder why only four stars have been awarded? Well the worry is that the combs supplied with this reincarnation seem more rigid than the old ones, making me think that they might just become brittle fairly quickly if the styler is to be used on a daily basis......anyway, I'm off now to see if I've lost any of my ear-burning proficiency over the last decade or more. Welcome back steam flexibrush.

      Very pleased

I couldn't be more pleased with this hair styler, it is much better than my last one whichterminated itself a couple of weeks ago. I was lost without it but now I am glad it packedup as I now have a more up to date styler. It heats up quickly and the lead is a good length.I personally don't want to use to steam option as I find the dry heat gives a more naturalbounce to the curl. I have shortish hair but not cropped, so this is ideal for me. Havingsaid that anyone with very short hair may struggle to get a good grip on the hair. The service was very good, I live in Spain and the company sent my order via RoyalMail so I didn't have to wait too long. More than satisfied with my purchase.Would recommend.

They are great on my long

I've been using these Remington steam brushes for about 20 years now. They are great on my long, fine hair leaving ringlets, curls or waves that last the whole day. The brushes last for ages, the bristles can be taken out and cleaned and the whole thing is so easy to use. You fill the cap with water and screw into the head of the brush, plug it it, wait for it to heat up and away you go.

      Steam heated brush

As with all the heated brushes I have tried, this one is not easy to use, and needs a lot of practice. Having watched YouTube videos, I can see that it should work well, so I will persevere. Filling the water reservoir is fiddly and I can't see the level of water through the clear plastic cap but it does produce very hot steam. It leaked once like a kettle overboiling and very hot water ran down my hand, so it definitely should be kept well away from children. The small width of the roller is a plus for me, as most heated brushes are very big and not easy to use on short hair.

      So pleased with this item

So pleased with this item, I have been using these for years, my last one for at least 4 years, but it broke a couple of weeks ago and I just happened to look on BargainFox to see if they sold them and lo and behold, they did. Brilliant , I would be lost without this. 10 out of 10.

      Robust Tool!

This is probably my 3rd purchase over 30 years. Wear and tear has probably been due to forgetting to switch off on several occasions in each model. Maintenance is simple as the brush spikes can be removed easily for cleaning. The re are two options to suit hair length and I believe this is now the only brush on the market with a steam option

      Quick and easy

I've bought lots of hair-taming tools in turn, in search of novelty - they are always more difficult to use than I'd hoped, or they burn my fingers. This is quick, easy, and light to pack, and I keep coming back to it while the others sit forgotten in a drawer somewhere. But beware - don't leave it on when you've finished using it, as it stays hot, and the steam damages the spring inside. (This is the third one I've bought, all because of my own forgetfulness). Love it's simplicity.

      Not quite suitable

A bit disappointed really as I had one of these many years ago and it was terrific. However, now that my hair has thinned and is cut very short it's not as easy to use as I remember it.If your hair is not quite so fine, thin & short as mine, then it'll probably be OK.. I found that even using the shorter brushes I need to encourage the hair round the barrel with my thumb/fingers, with the result that I burnt my thumb quite badly - I think I might have inadvertently pressed the steam barrel at the wrong time! It's very easy to forget to unplug the styler. I do think it should have an on/off switch.

Not too heavy for older people to use

My mum loves using this now to style her hair. She has weak wrists and found this weight ok to use. She hasn't tried the steam function yet. I'm glad I bought this for her, based on the reviews here.

      Mother was very happy

Mother usually gets her hair done at the hairdressers every week due to arthritis in her hands. Due to the lockdown she can’t do that so we were looking for ways to curl her hair. She still has a 1960’s fluff ball lol.I bought her some gas canisters for her gas cutler which helped. She was saying she wished she had her old curler from years ago with a steam button on the end. So I checked BargainFox and here it is the 1990’s version. She was very happy when she got it and she said it’s perfect. Apparently it used to be just a tong but now there’s brushes it’s much better. She says it’s the only way to get decent curls that stay. It’s a great price too I’d recommend trying it.
