Great kids Step counter and Watch

My son (6) wanted a watch like daddy's. I have a Smart watch which does a lot more but I didn't want a product that he would break or would be too complicated. This is where the fitbit excels. Steps watch, timer etc are all quick swipes. He is very happy and loves the racoon face on the front which can be changed. Works well with andriod app and easy to setup. He runs, jumps and sleeps with it and its very sturdy. Its expensive but for less hassle its a great product.

    Not really worth it

I’m a bit disappointed with this.
I have 2 - one for a 5 year old and one for an 8 year old. Both enjoy counting their steps and both have clock faces that progress as you get more steps (a rocket and a plant).
The downsides - the app, is clunky to switch between mine and theirs. Needs a password to log back into mine despite it all being on my phone.
Step counter - this is the primary function and isn’t very accurate. I’ve not found an option to change the sensitivity.
The strap, the buckle on my daughters broke to be unwearable after 3 months of use. Fitbit are good with replacements, but the shipping is very poor.
Silent alarms - a function to label the alarms would be really helpful.
Incentives - the activity one is almost impossible to fill unless you manually enter the details into Log Activity on the app.

In honesty, I wish I’d got Garmins.

    Not overly impressed

I don't have a fitbit style watch myself and while I know there are a range of products out there I wasn't overly impressed by this one.
I appreciate the primary purpose of this product is to track fitness but I don't think the screen images are particularly modern tech looking.
I don't think the product it is easy to set up. The App doesn't allow you to set everything up so you also have to log in to your account via wen page (why?!)
It says you can have a 24hr clock - well you can't. The Casio watch I won at a fairground game in 1982 had the ability to set up as 24hr clock so why doesn't this?!

    Battery seems to last ok.

    Great for kids

Bought to keep my daughter active during lockdown. It has worked like a dream. Really brings out the competitive side with step count. She has worn it in the shower and bath with no adverse effects and seems well made. Battery life is good too.One small bugbear is the strap. The tail end comes loose and flaps around a lot. Could be designed better.

    Fitbit for Kids!

My kid loves this Fit-bit. He was very excited when it wad delivered and couldn't wait to put it on his wrist. The syncing process to his iPad works without any issues. The visual counter showing the number of steps taken is nice and clear and definitely helps in keeping him active as he aims to be the 'highest stepper' within the household.Just to note, this item does not have a heart rate monitor and requires charging every 3/4 days.Overall, well worth buying :)

Great watch for my 7 year old

Bought for my 7 year old. He loves it. Having previously had another cheaper unknown brand, I think the extra that Fitbit charges are mostly worth it.Pros - great battery life, lasts a week between charges and charges fast. The display is intuitive and my son learnt how it works quickly. He particularly likes that we can change the picture. Sleep tracking seems accurate, and the hourly activity reminder is helpful. The phone app on the most part is good.Cons - the strap broke about 1 month in. It snapped off by one of the holes. The band going round it kept slipping off, so the strap kept getting caught in things. We bought a cheap unbranded replacement off BargainFox and haven't had any issues with it since. The other con is the app interface. I'm not sure if it's Fitbit's fault or my phone's. As I have the Fitbit app on my phone for my own device, I was able to create a second profile for him as his parent. The issue is that only one device syncs at a time, so if I want to see his stats I have to manually sync with his Fitbit. It then no longer automatically syncs with my Fitbit and I usually have to turn Bluetooth off and on again, restart the app and sometimes restart my phone before I can get it syncing with my Versa again. As a result I rarely sync the Ace and he uses it more like a regular watch and straps tracker.

    It's Ace too

Bought this for my 6yr old daughter. As it's designed for children, it's not going to be all singing all dancing in terms of the technology (GPS, Heart-Rate etc) The watch itself has a kid friendly look to it and my daughter loves wearing it. She is excited at showing me how many steps she's taken and really that's the point to this...Encouraging her to be more active!! Well worth the price, if it means she wants to walk as opposed to getting in the car.

    Great tracker for younger kids

I was initially a little put off by the price as £60 for kids watch is obnoxious but... we bought a cheap version and the strap was too loose so decided to splurge on this one. My 8 yrs old daughter loves it. She moved being able to change clock faces on the app. It’s simple and I didn’t want it to have too many features. It could be improved by the coloured screen though that many cheaper versions seem to have. She’s had it for 7 months now, the battery last for days and it is a very comfortable silicone strap that feels like you’re not wearing it (I have tried it on). Overall, a great gadget for the younger kids. I will get one for xmas for my younger child too.

    Super soft.

I am very impressed with the fitbit ace 2! I love how soft and flexible the strap is and it fits excellently on my 5 year olds little wrist. Plenty of room for growing too. He loves getting his notifications to say hes met his goal. Was a little disappointed to find that it had been reduced in price by £20 just the day after we had bought it but thats just the way it goes. Would definitely recommend keeping an eye and purchasing when it goes on sale.

I bought this for my 8 year old sons birthday.
He is very happy with his watch.
    He likes:
    • That it tracks your sleep and you are able to see your sleep pattern on the app.
    • Tracks yours activities including swimming.
    • Gives you badges for achievements.
    • Quick charging and full battery lasts approx 5 days.
    • Can change watch strap.
    • App has lots of useful info and you can challenge your friends.

    Improvements
    • When doing an activity like swimming you have to enter in the activity after you have done it. Would be good if you could press swimming on watch then do activity.
