Bought this product 18 months ago during lockdown..paid for itself in terms of money saved from barbers (not that anyone could go!). Good product at the time without issues. 18 months down the line the battery is not charging as it should..it'll seem as if it's taken the charge it needs with the light but then you won't get through even a full beard shave. It'll start catching on hair, which it painful, and stopping despite being pretty fresh from the charger. The battery will then die midway and you'll have to recharge and then go again. Wouldn't buy again..looking to purchase one with more longevity

Had no problem shaving me head with this. It cut cleanly, with no pulling. The head is a little small so lots of passes required, but only took about 15 minutes to complete. Battery lasted for this time and as I only cut my hair once a month this was perfect.

I think it's the best trimmer I've had. Does a great job both on the beard and on my head hair. Make the job very fast. Don't have anything negative to say about it

I purchased Braun because I thought it was a quality brand. I was getting frustrated with my phillips for falling apart after 1 year.

The Braun is very well designed, very robust, and great to look at. However, that's it...

- It snags on your beard
- The blade is made for toddlers hair, and isnt sharp at all, you would have to go over your beard several times, which takes time and effort.
- The extra parts are useless really, the foil shaver just pulls your trimmed beard hair.

Seriously, for such a big business, speak to your consumers, as this is not worth the badge price.

I don't understand why Braun is selling their trimmers with EU two pin plug in the UK. I had to buy a plug to use it. They don't mention it in the description.

Also, it stopped charging after two uses. I'm returning it.

The trimming is not as precise as expected, especially for people with curly beard.

Very disappointed.

It Also has a Travel lock 🔐 Precision beard comb (1-10mm) precision Hair comb (11-20mm) You can wash this with Actual water 💦 But Always Disconnect from Electricity before doing this. comes with different head size Accessories too. 😀

This is a really good set of clippers. Well made and with lots of settings. Cuts hair really well. Unfortunately it has stopped working after only 3 months and having been used about 4 times. I think its the battery not holding a charge. It is under guarantee but meanwhile I have ordered another Braun which may be foolhardy! Normally a good make though so I'm surprised it was rubbish.

Product feels well made and it does a great job at clipping hair with easy adjustment in 0.5mm steps. I used to trim my hair between 10 to 20mm. Accessories feel well made although the foil head is slow to use and didn't trim beard that close. Very good product, nice to use. Slightly let down by the poor two pin plug which requires a firm holding shaver adapter otherwise the unit will not charge. The charger is also quite long and therefore pulls on the shaver socket making charging more difficult. Overall a good product if you can get it to charge. If Braun supplied if with a 3 pin plug it'll be perfect. Like many manufacturers they could quite easily include a 3 pin adapter to give the best of both worlds. Unfortunately a 3 pin is not supplied.

I found the description of this off putting, it goes on and on about trimming your beard, I wanted a hair cutter so very nearly didn't buy this, so glad I did though because its good, easy to use, good to hold and does the job.

We purchased this to cut my husband hair during lockdown. It arrived faster than expected. It is easy for my husband to trim his own head. Works great.
