A very light compact device with a display (green) far brighter than you'd give the small "coin" battery credit for. Very clear and easy to read.

Turn it on and cycle through the various units of measure while it's in its "start-up phase". Kilos is what the airport uses so I stuck to that (that's the default).

First I weighed a large picture in a cardboard sandwich. 2.21 Kg. Impressed - my bathroom scales ignore anything under 20 Kg. Well - they see it then it resets to zero as if "you must be joking nobody weighs that little". My total flight allowance is 20Kg so the suitcase needs to be < 18Kg...

Suitcase 19.95Kg. Ok so I need to take stuff out. It really helps you whittle away and think about "what is essential, what can I buy there instead, what can I put in my hand luggage instead".

If I'd not had these accurate scales I'd have taken 22Kg to the airport and I would have been charged £67 to upgrade from 20 to 23Kg! £67!! This thing has paid for itself already.

With the display on the top it's really easy to see when lifting a heavy-ish suitcase with two hands. Some other brands have the display on the side and you'd need to squat or contort to see it.

Wish I'd bought one of these years ago! No more getting on bathroom scales to weigh myself, get off, get back on carrying the suitcase, subtract that weight from my weight to figure out the suitcase weight. Too much hassle.

For something that has only one simple purpose in life it, does it very well.

Very well made, lightweight and fits comfortable in the hand. Have used it 3 times since buying it to confirm the weight of 'carry on' luggage as airlines are very 'picky' about it these days on short haul flights. Very acurate and easy to use. Lift the case and only wait for a couple of secinds to get a firm reading which stays on the screen for you or anyone else to see.Really pleased with it.

A well made product with a sturdy strap and a very clear and easily seen illuminated screen. It is very easy to attach to any form of luggage handle since the strap is a generous length. it sits comfortably in the hand. Definitely worth buying this if you are in the market for one. The tare facility is also a useful additional feature.

Bought these Sept 21 used to check weight of a suitcase - 21kg - they where spot on easy to use with clear display the problem is I went to use them again Jan 22 to weigh a suitcase - 31kg - I then checked the same suitcase a 2nd time and had an error message tried turning off and on still error message above 12kg, so these scales were used 3 times in Sept 21 and 2 times in Jan 22, not worth the £8.99 😧

This is really easy to use, the weight can be changed to the desired measure you want and then simply pop the device on and it goes through your case handle with the strap which is really strong, the back light is so easy to read and once you lift the case hold straight and in 5 seconds the weight is displayed so you can put the case down and the weight is locked in on the display, this is the best one we have ever used as found others poor and really out weight wise, this actually was slightly lower but only by half a llb in weight on both cases so really good certainly cannot go over with this , makes me feel so much better as always worry am over!, great buy , recommend .

Love this little luggage scale. It's very well thought out and so simple, clip is durable and can hook around pretty much anything with the little strap. Nice and small for travelling with. Even simple use - turn on, attach luggage and pick up the handle (which seems pretty ergonomically sound, feels right to pick up and not uncomfortable) and it even auto-holds so you can see the weight without having to lift & read at the same time.

The first thing I did upon purchasing this luggage scale was check the accuracy and it was spot on, giving me confidence when on holiday. The only problem now is stopping my wife from buying more stuff to take home from holiday because she has plenty of weight left in the cases!!! A total backfire purchase, be careful of this expensive downside.

No more sweating at the baggage counter, hoping that I made weight like a boxer before weigh in. Very accurate, and it jumps from kg/lb/g/Ozs which is useful for me as I am Canadian and all the flights in Europe do KGs. The plastic bit that protects battery life is genius, so you receive it with a full battery. I kept the plastic bit and I have popped it back in when I am not using it to preserve battery life and suggest it to anyone else, unless you are a flight attendant or a pilot and are flying every other hour.

The item I received was entirely useless, I ordered it to weigh my luggage before going on holiday and again before coming home but the device doesn't work, the screen seems to have a loose connection therefore flashes on and off all the time making the product impossible to use. I am throughly dissatisfied as I've not been able to use the product at all. I ended up having to buy a different weighing scale at the airport!!!

I thought it would be difficult to get excited about luggage scales but I was wrong. For years we have been weighing our luggage by getting on the bathroom scales without the suitcase then getting on again with it. This has proved accurate to within a pound or two but is a bit of an effort. This digital scale is so much simpler and seems accurate. It is very easy to read even in poor light. Wish I had bought one years ago
